6751 | Erdinger Brauhaus Natur Radler | Germany | Fruit Beer | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, from Coop Extra, Sauda. ABV is 2.6%. Hazy and very pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of lemonade / lemon soda. Very sweet and "artificial" flavour of lemon soda. I'd rather have a straight lemonade. Not undrinkable though. |

6752 | EKU 28 | Germany | Eisbock | 2.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 Some initially pleasant oak and malts flavours are soon overwhelmed by a revolting alcoholic syrupy sweetness, making it almost impossible to finish a bottle. The eisbock style is not something I'll sample again - unless it's for free. |

6754 | Tinkov Russian Lager (Zolotoe) | Russia | Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (330 ml clear bottle, bought in Denmark). Golden colour, not entirely clear (cold filtered). A whiff of Heineken-like freshness when you open the bottle, disappears in the glass, where the aroma is weak malty with notes of boiled vegetables and wet cardboard, just a faint hint of catpiss (clear bottle?). Flavour is lightly malty with an unpleasant sweetness, notes of boiled carrots and maize (corn). Low on hops. Little aftertaste. The Russians may keep this beer to themselves, as far as I’m concerned. |

6757 | Clausthaler Extra Herb | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Considerably better than the ordinary Clausthaler (Clausthaler Classic). The Extra Herb (known as Extra Dry in some countries) is drier and has more and better hops. It's still a n/a beer, don't expect too much - but at least it's drinkable with a meal when alcohol is a no-no. |

6759 | Castlemaine XXXX Draught Lager (English version) | United Kingdom | Pale Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, bought in London, named "Castlemaine XXXX Draught Lager", brewed under license in the UK by Interbrew. ABV was 4.0%. This version seems not to be brewed in Australia at all. Drank it ice cold, like the Aussies would prefer it. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Weak sweetish aroma. Little taste at all, just a hint of boiled vegetables and a faint bitterness. Better than water. |

6763 | Lade Gaards Brygghus Juleøl Sterk Type | Norway | Bock | 2.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Lade Gaards Juleøl Sterk Type. ABV is 6.5%. (No, this won’t be part of the pub’s regular selection, thank God - it’s just in for the Grand Christmas Beer Tasting.) Very dark brown colour, large beige head. Sourish metallic aroma, some malts and caramel. Thin body. Sourish metallic flavour too, like sucking 5" galvanized nails. The most miserable strong ("Vinmonopolet strength") Christmas /Yule beer you can get in Norway. |

6764 | Kuda Putih | Indonesia | Pale Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 620 ml green bottle, in Bali. ABV is 4.5%. Pale yellow colour, low white head. Typical green bottle "skunky" pale lager aroma, but not too bad. Some sweetish malty and grassy notes. The flavour is bland as expected, but not horrid. At least there is a hint of malts and hops, and it is not sugary sweet. Ice cold it may serve as a thirstquencher in the Indonesian heat. |

6767 | Presidente | Dominican Republic | Pale Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Shared 330 ml green bottle at local tasting. Pale golden colour, low white head. Weak sweetish aroma, notes of grass and artificial candy. Bland flavour, but not offensive. No doubt drinkable under the Dominican sun, but far from a great beer. |

6771 | Lervig / Pulpit Rock Kransekake Stout | Norway | Imperial Stout | 2.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 11%. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. Sweetish aroma of malts, dark syrup, chocolate, vanilla and almonds. Sickly sweet and sugary flavour, the same elements as the aroma, but the beer is so revoltingly sweet that it is undrinkable for me. Totally unbalanced. |

6774 | Bergquell Erdbeer Porter | Germany | Porter | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 August 2014: Shared 500 ml bottle, probably from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. Deep ruby colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of strawberry syrup and strawberry candy, with an initial hint of vomit. Sweet flavour, strawberry syrup and strawberry chewing gum galore, mild roasty notes in the background. Not something I’ll buy again. Ever. |

6775 | HaandBryggeriet Cuvée Humlepupp | Norway | Flanders Red | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 750 ml green bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Gusher bottle. Cloudy dark reddish brown colour, shortlived head. Aroma of oak, red wine and unfresh notes of blackcurrants. Fizzy mouthfeel. The medium sour and vinegary flavour has the same elements as the aroma. Not my cup of tea. |
