6601 | Star Lager Beer | Nigeria | Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Shared 330 ml can, at local tasting. ABV is 5.1%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Minimal aroma, hints of grassy and citrussy hops, not unpleasant though. Fairly "clean" and neutral pale lager flavour, a hint of citrus, noticeable hops. Not as bad as I feared. |

6603 | Estrella Levante Clásica | Spain | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from Super Cor, La Manga. ABv is 4.8%. Golden colour, pearly carbonation, moderate white head. Boring aroma, notes of dust and wet cardboard, also some sweetish notes of maize, hints of detergent. Fizzy mouthfeel. The otherwise bland flavour has some stale and metallic hops in the finish. Will not buy again. |

6604 | Dahls Sitrus Lite | Norway | Light / Lite Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, from Bunnpris Sand. ABV is 4.3%. Pale and nearly clear golden colour, moderate to small white head. Artificial aroma and flavour of pink grapefruit and blood orange - I'll bet that none of these fruits have been near this beer, though. Citric mouthfeel, low bitterness. Nothing here to please a beer entusiast, but the beer is not undrinkable, as it is wet and cold. In a blind test, I could have guessed that this was a radler / shandy. |

6605 | Aass Lite IPA Mango | Norway | Fruit Beer | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.5%. Very pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Strong aroma of mango, both real mango and artificial "mango" esters. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour of citrus and mango with some "artificial" notes, not too sweet, a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Far from great, but not undrinkable when cold. |

6606 | Schneeeule Dietrich | Germany | Berliner Weisse | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub, Stavanger. ABV is 3.8%. Hazy and very pale yellow colour, some yeast floaties, moderate white head. Aroma of lactic acid, hints of lemons and yeast. Very sour flavour, lactic acid and lemons galore, but better than Marlene. |

6607 | Green's Gluten Free Gutsy Dark Ale | Belgium | Belgian Ale | 2.2
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Shared 3 bottles à 330 ml at Cardinal, Stavanger. Gluten free. All of them were gusher bottles, half of the content gushed out by its own will. The remaining bottles will be returned to the importer. Brown colour. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dull aroma and flavour - not horrible, just dull. |

6608 | Harboe Dunkel | Denmark | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, called "Premium Dunkel", but must be the same beer. ABV is the same. Adding "premium" to the name of most of their beers will not hide the fact that Harboe is one of the least interesting discount breweries in Northern Europe. Brown colour, very thin for a dunkel. Decent head. Moderate malty aroma. Flavour has a very moderate maltiness, very thin and slightly metallic mouthfeel. Another poor brew from Harboe. |

6609 | KjaerStrup Chocolate Stout | Denmark | Chocolate Stout | 2.2
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.7%. Dark ruby nearly black colour, large tan head. Aroma is overhelming chocolate (like chocolate sauce), artificial vanilla, cocoa, candy and caramel. Definitely too much of all the sweet aromas. Flavour is not quite as overwhelmingly sweet as the aroma makes you fear, but pretty close. Again: too much chocolate, cocoa and artificial vanilla, some coffee notes too. I’m not amused. Couldn’t finish the bottle. |

6610 | Mack Sommerøl | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (500 ml can). Norwegian "summer beers" are the work of the devil! While their ordinary pilseners are summer beers good enough, every brewery, of some reason, now makes a lighter and blander version for the summer months. The one from Mack is not the worst of its kind, but that doesn't mean it's a good beer. Typical pilsener colour (not as extremely pale coloured as the ones from some other breweries), very good head, weak flowery aroma, weak grassy flavour (as far as there is any flavour at all), low bitterness. This is for the target group who wants an ice cold thirstquencher without much taste. |

6611 | Bergadler Premium Pils | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml bottle with twist-off cap, bought at LIDL, Norway. ABV here is 4.7%, to comply with our 4.75% upper limit for beers sold in grocery stores. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Moderate aromatic hops, herbal and flowery notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The rather dry flavour is dominated by a not very pleasant bitterness of not very good hops, becomes "industrial" and metallic in the finish. Not my favourite pils this one. |

6612 | Flensburger Frei | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml swingtop bottle, in Flensburg. Very pale golden colour, large and lasting head. Watery of course, but has a decent hoppiness in aroma and flavour, without the "boiled" character of most other n/a beers. One of the (relatively) "best" n/a beers I’ve had so far. |

6614 | Lundetangen Sommerøl | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (500 ml can). Another beer brewed by Aass Bryggeri, Drammen, in the name of long gone Lundetangen Bryggeri, Skien. Norwegian "summer beers" (= very light pilseners) are generally the work of the devil - this one is far from the worst of its kind. Pale golden colour, moderate head, aromatic hops are not too bad (Saaz?), very light bodied (of course), clean taste (as far as there is any taste at all), not much bitterness / aftertaste. A thirstquencher for a hot summer's day - if there are no better beers around. |

6615 | Mongozo Coconut 3.5% | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml bottle. This is obviously a different beer from the 7% ABV Mongozo Coconut. This one is probably brewed for the Swedish market (Sweden has a 3.5% limit for beers sold in grocery stores), but it is now also available in Norway (ULTRA stores a.o.). Gushes out of the bottle, opaque straw colored, decent white head. INTENSE sweet aroma of coconut suntan oil, which is a smell I like, but not necessarily in beer! More unpleasant "chemical" notes come through later on. Flavour is very sweet and reminds me of the coconut & sugar filling in Bounty chocolates. Pretty bad beer, but not quite as disgusting as Mongozo Banana. |

6616 | Grans Pilsner Classic | Norway | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml clear glass bottles. A 'continental' style pils, good head, initial flavour is not unpleasant - that is, if you can find any flavour at all. Lightly hopped - in fact, lightly anything. Metallic aftertaste. At least this one is slightly better than Gran's 'Premium' pilsner. |

6617 | Grans Fatøl | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (500 ml can). Brewed "under licence" (my ass!) in Denmark, no doubt by Gran's Danish partner brewery Harboe. Very pale golden brew, decent head. Quite strong fruity sweet aroma, not really good but not offensive either. Flavour is typical Harboe = completely uninteresting, a bit on the sweet side, low bitterness. Little aftertaste - at least you don't get the normal Grans metallicness. |

6618 | Ringnes Fatøl | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Pale golden colour, decent head. Moderate sweetish and sugary aroma, notes of grass and boiled vegetables, not very attracive. Moderate sweetish flavour, minimal hops. Another boring beer from Ringnes. |

6619 | Harboe IPA | Denmark | IPA | 2.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Also bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.6%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Dull aroma of grain, dust, stale jam and a little caramel. The flavour is slightly citric, moderate notes of grain and caramel, with a metallic bitterness in the finish. Won't buy again. |

6620 | Frejdahl Gleipner Alkoholfri Citra IPA | Denmark | Reduced Alcohol | 2.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml bottle, as Frejdahl Gleipner Alkoholfri Citra IPA, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 0.5% or less. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar, citric hops and "orange" and "peach" candy. The flavour is medium sweet, with the same elements. A slight bitterness in the finish. |

Brewed in the EU for Brasserie Champigneulles, France. Clear golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of malts and grass. Fairly bland flavour, with more malts than hops. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. IBU is 30. Moderately hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of grain and tropical fruits. The flavour has also grainy and fruity notes, with a sharp and medicinal bitterness in the aftertaste. |
