330 ml can, batch #197, from Coop Mega Madla Handelslag. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of kveik (Norwegian farmhouse yeast), notes of ripe and over-ripe yellow plums, sultanas, hay and a hint of oatmeal. The flavour is moderately citric, hints of yellow plums again with a moderate fruity acidity, the bitterness is very low and the finish short.

October 2020: 440 ml can, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy straw colour, moderate to small coarse white head. Pleasant aroma of spruce and pine, citrus and tropical fruits. The flavour is citric and slightly acidic, some resinous notes, but lacks "bite" in the finish.

August 2017: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep orange colour, large off-white head. Aroma of smoked malts, smoked meat and smoked fish. Slightly dry flavour, with a certain fruitiness that helps the drinkability a lot. Also distinct notes of smoked malts, moderate hops. I might not be the world's biggest fan of smoked beers in general, but this is one I could happily drink again - and again.

Moderately roasty flavour, medium dry, woody notes, again a whiff of smoke, while a slight fruitiness helps the drinkability. Moderate but noticeable hops in the finish.

Pleasant aroma of apples, a hint of sulphites. Medium dry flavour of apples, again a hint of sulphites.

June 2019: Cask halfpint at The Flying Horse (JDW), Gatwick Airport. ABV 3.8%. Golden colour, white head. Moderate citrussy aroma. Flavour of moderately citrussy and herbal hops. Decent bitterness.

Sample at Gladmatfestivalen, Stavanger. Golden to orange colour. Hoppy aroma, notes of pine and bitter orange marmalade. Dry and very bitter flavour, with barely enough malts to support the bitterness.

Moderate grainy and malty aroma, a hint of honey. Moderate malty flavour, moderate earthy hops. A very slight fruitiness, again a hint of honey.

Fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, loads of caramel and spices, not perfectly balanced. Not very strong notes of bourbon and oak.
