4776 | Primátor Svetlé 10° | Czech Republic | Light / Lite Lager | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, as Primátor Svetlý, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4%. Pale golden colour, big white head. Typical Czech pilsener aroma of sweetish malts and grassy and floral Saaz hops, hints of honey. Light bodied of course, but very refreshing, with a better presence in the flavour of both malts and Saaz hops than you’d expect from 4% pilsener. |

4777 | Primator Diamant | Czech Republic | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.0%. Golden colour, big to moderate white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Nice aroma of butterscotch and fudge. Soft mouthfeel. Refreshing flavour, moderate malts with a touch of butterscotch, not very sweet. Lightly hopped, more of a helles than a pilsener. |

4778 | Kloster Svendeøl | Denmark | Bock | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 5.3%. Deep golden to amber colour, large head, slightly off-white. Moderate aroma of anise and rowanberry jelly, a hint of grassy hops and crystal malts. The flavour has also notes of anise (of which I am not a big fan), just a hint of rowanberries. Fairly dry, but with hints of crystal malts, and the hops are too moderate. I’m sorry, but this is not a beer that got me excited. |

4779 | Samuel Smiths Organic Strawberry Fruit Beer | United Kingdom | Fruit Beer | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 355 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5.1%. The colour is more brown than red, with a moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of strawberry jam and artificial "strawberry" candy, not fresh strawberries. The flavour has also notes of strawberry jam, but is not quite as sweet as I feared, and there are actually some hints of malts and hops to remind you that this is a beer. Refreshing when cold. |

4780 | Ægir Maibokk | Norway | Bock | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Deep golden colour, low white head. Moderate "dusty" lager aroma, nothing exciting there. The flavour has a nice balance between the malts and hops, fairly easy drinking for its strength. |

4781 | dEcaussinnes Ultra Delice | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Sample from bottle, Copenhagen Beer Festival. Amber colour, some chill haze. Sweetish and spicy aroma. The flavour is not quite as sweet and spicy as expected, and the beer is fairly drinkable. Maybe not my favourite beer for daily indulgence, but a nice change-of-pace beer. Will buy again when I can find it. |

4785 | Okkara Rinkusteinur | Faroe Islands | Amber Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, from Rúsan, Torshavn. ABV is 5.8%. Brewed with Faroese volcanic rocks that are heated to 800 degrees C before they are placed in the wort. Reddish amber colour, pearly carbonation, low off-white head. Nice aroma of malts, caramel and some grassy hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has some malts and caramel, without being sweet, but the body is too thin for its strength, and the hops are too moderate. Still a drinkable beer. |

4786 | Mo Eventyrøl Mørk | Norway | Brown Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 Sample on tap at Gladmatfestivalen 2011. I spoke to Bjørn Moe, and he confirmed that his two Eventyrøl varieties were NOT identical with Glad Laks and Mørk Suldøl - but as I was in a bit of a hurry, I forgot to ask if they were bottom fermented or top fermented. My guess is that they are both top fermented, which would imply that brown ale is the nearest style for Eventyrøl Mørk. Amber to copper colour, low off-white head. Moderate aroma, notes of brown bread, hints of caramel and toffee. Fairly decent flavour, some caramel and noticeable hops. |

4787 | Wexford Ale Irish Cream Ale | United Kingdom | Irish Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 440 ml nitro can with widget, from Rúsan, Tórshavn. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, typical nitrogen pour, moderate creamy white head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and dark berries. Smooth and creamy nitro mouthfeel. The flavour has again notes of caramel, butterscotch and dark berries, bland in the middle, moderate bitterness in the finish. Not great, but better than I feared. |

4788 | Skagen Væltepeter | Denmark | Doppelbock | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, from SuperBest Hjørring. ABV is 7.5%. Very dark brown colour, huge beige head. Strong aroma of malts with hints of caramel, also distinct fruity and red wine vinegary notes. Infected? The flavour is malty, fruity and very sweet, with loads of caramel, and the moderate hops are only noticeable in the aftertaste. Too sweet, possibly slightly infected, and not really something I’d buy again. |

4789 | Vendia Schwarzbier 6 | Denmark | Schwarzbier | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, from SuperBest Hjørring. ABV is 5.2%. Very dark reddish brown colour, nearly black. Large creamy head. Moderate aroma of "dusty" malts, some weak roasty notes. The flavour is moderately roasty, some coffee notes, only a little residual sweetness, a hint of liquorice. The hops are very moderate. Nice enough to drink, but no masterpiece. |

4790 | Lagunitas Censored (Kronik) | United States | Strong Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 355 ml bottle, as Lagunitas The Censored Rich Copper Ale, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV not mentioned on the label. Amber to copper colour, moderate off-white head. Fairly nice aroma of caramel and fruity hops, hints of old orange marmalade. The medium sweet flavour has also notes of caramel and a little fruit, but lacks hops and "freshness". Drinkable, but I expected more from Lagunitas. |

4791 | Thisted Exclusive | Denmark | Strong Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, probably from Dagli’brugsen Skødstrup. ABV is 7.6%. Copper colour, large head with an orangey hue. The fairly strong aroma is fruity, mixed with distinct notes of caramel malts. The flavour is malty and rather sweet with plenty of caramel, the alcohol is noticeable. Bitter hops in the finish, becomes slightly metallic in the aftertaste. |

4792 | Mikkeller Hop Series Warrior | Denmark | IPA | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV is 6.8%, theoretical IBU 115. Deep golden to amber colour, huge off-white head. Moderate but nice aroma of Warrior hops, fruity and piney notes. The flavour has first some malty sweetness, then an excessive hoppy bitterness takes over. 115 IBU is not a good way to acquainting people with the qualities of any single hop - the bitterness becomes too dominant, masking other aspects of the hop’s flavour profile. Mikkeller’s previous Single Hop Warrior IPA was much better. |

4793 | Sidra Asturiana Mayador | Spain | Cider | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 700 ml "champagne" bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga. ABV is 4.1%. Very pale straw coloured cider, pours very fizzy with a large white head that dies instantly. Nice aroma of cider apples and sweet eating apples, a hint of sulphites. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Nice sweet flavour of sweet eating apples and oxidised cider apples, a hint of of sulphites. |

4794 | BrewDog Three Floyds Bitch Please | United Kingdom | English Barleywine | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, batch # 096(?, print unclear), Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11.5%. Chestnut colour, large cream-coloured head. Medium strong aroma of peat-smoked malts, not much else comes through. The flavour is medium sweet with notes of peat smoke and ashes, moderate hops in the finish. A bit one-dimensional. Why the heck must a delicate hop like Nelson Sauvin fight an impossible battle with Laphroaig peat-smoked malts? |

Very hoppy, with a very bitter and dry aftertaste. |
