4277 | Belhaven McCallum's Sweet Scottish Stout | United Kingdom | Stout | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 330 ml clear bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 4.1%. Mahogany coloured beer, large and creamy beige head. Nice malty aroma, with a moderate roastiness, notes of mild coffee and a touch of wood and ashes. The flavour is malty and sweet, with more caramel than roastiness, minimal hops. Not your typical stout, but nice enough. |

4283 | Ørbæk Fynsk Forår | Denmark | Spiced Beer | 3.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, from Rúsan, Torshavn. ABV is 5%. It’s ironic that I had to go to the Faroes to finally buy this - I have passed it in numerous Danish supermarkets, under the delusion that I already had rated it. Well, here we go: Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, moderate to low white head. Grassy and floral aroma, but the elderflowers are not distinct. Refreshing and pleasant flavour, citrussy and floral notes. Low bitterness. Wheaty character, hints of cloves. Not a real masterpiece, but nice and drinkable on a fine summer’s day. |

4284 | Bøllingsø Mosekonen | Denmark | Abbey Tripel | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV is 7.4%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Spicy, yeasty and fruity aroma, hints of oranges and coriander. The flavour is medium sweet (maybe a tad too sweet), spicy and fruity notes again, hints of alcohol. Moderate hops. Fairly decent, but not the best triple in the world. |

4285 | Goose Island Pepe Nero | United States | Saison | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 355 ml bottle, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV is 6%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge and lasting beige head. Pleasant "Belgian" ale aroma with spicy / peppery and fruity notes. Hints of coriander, banana, citrus and cloves. The flavour is citrussy, possibly a bit more sour than intended? (slight infection??), moderately spicy / peppery, just a hint of dark malts and coffee. Okay, but not as great as I hoped. Won’t buy again. |

4286 | Ambar Especial Apta Para Celiacos | Spain | Lager | 3.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 330 ml bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga. ABV is 5.2%. Gluten free version of the ordinary Ambar Especial, suitable for people with coeliac disease. Label very similar to the ordinary version, you really have to look out for the words "Apta para celiacos", if this is the version you need. Deep golden colour, low white head. Fairly nice aroma of malts, herbs and cloves. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Malty flavour, a hint of caramel, not very sweet. Tolerable hops in the finish. Astonishingly good (well, my expectations were low), possibly the best coeliac-friendly beer I’ve had. |

4288 | Jolly Pumpkin / Nøgne Ø / Stone Collababeire Special Holiday Ale | United States | Spiced Beer | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 750 ml bottle, blend 4, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9%. Cloudy dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Some sediment in the bottle, you’re in for floaties if you pour too vigorously in the end. Strong sourish and vinous aroma, with notes of Flemish red ales and red wine vinegar. Sour flavour with notes of oak, red wine vinegar, herbs and spices, noticeable hops in the finish. Quite interesting, but requires that you’re into the sour stuff. |
