500 ml bottle, batch #2571, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 25. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, honey and newmown grass. Crisp pilsener flavour, not too sweet, well balanced herbal hops.

750 ml bottle, from Bunnpris Sand. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, pine and spruce. Citric and fizzy mouthfeel, light bodied. The flavour is piney and citric, moderately bitter.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 6.0%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Nice aroma of citrus, pine and spruce. Citric and medium dry flavour, piney notes with a resinous and grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Not very complex, but nice.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Reddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of oak, red wine, brettanomyces, red wine vinegar, hints of molasses and fusel alcohols. Very sour flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Not worth the steep price.

750 ml bottle, harvest 2021, from Vinmonopolet Etne. ABV is 7% (2020 harvest was apparently 7.5%). Very pale straw colour, pours sparkling with a moderate but shortlived white head. Pleasant and typical "spicy" aroma of Gravenstein apples. Semi-dry flavour of Gravenstein apples, thinner body than expected. A fairly nice cider though.

500 ml bottle, as Brehon Just Because DIPA, from KWM Wines & Spirits. ABV is 8.5%. Deep golden to copper colour, large white head. Aroma of malts and orange marmalade, some piney notes too. Resinous and distinctly bitter flavour, sweetish notes of caramel or crystal malts, hints of grapefruit and bitter orange marmalade. A typical American West Coast DIPA - from Ireland.

Keg pint, as Lough Gill Anderson's Irish Ale, in The Railway Bar, Sligo. Deep reddish brown colour, large and creamy head, slightly off-white. Aroma and flavour of malts and butterscotch. Too much butterscotch (diacetyl), but drinkable.

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, some yeast floaties. Moderate white head. Nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Light bodied as expected. The flavour has distinct notes of citrus and pine needles, hints of tropical fruits. Not too sweet, decent bitterness in the finish. A nice summer refreshment, might buy again.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and coffee, a hint of liquorice and earthy hops. Fairly light bodied. Medium dry flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

330 ml bottle, batch #2053, from Coop Extra, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy "dirty yellow" colour, huge white head, takes a long time to settle. Distinct aroma of piney hops, also hints of grapefruit and lime. Citric mouthfeel, light bodied. Flavour of piney hops, also notes of grapefruit, bitter and fairly sharp finish.

Decent hoppy flavour with fruity and herbal notes, ending in a noticeable bitterness. Went down smoothly. Might buy again.

Moderately hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma of citric hops, also notes of tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips. Light bodied. Slightly dry flavour, citrus and hints of tropical fruits, hints of pine in the finish, but the bitterness is low.

Aroma of peaches and papaya, a hint of meat stock and sweat. Medium sweet flavour, peaches and papaya again, a moderate piney bitterness in the finish.
