The flavour is malty but not sweet, again notes of roasted nuts, hints of burnt breadcrumbs, moderate bittering hops. Well balanced and nice to drink.

330 ml can, as Garage Mash Tears Imperial Stout, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 11.0%. Pitch black colour, huge tan head. Aroma of roast malts and mild coffee, hints of maple syrup and vanilla. Sweet flavour, distinct maple syrup and caramel, also notes of coffee and roast malts, chocolate and vanilla. Quite nice - something for your sweet tooth.

September 2020: 500 ml clear bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4%. Clear red colour, pours sparkling with a large pink-ish head that actually lasts a while. Distinct aroma of blackberries, apples in the background. Sweet flavour with notes of blackberries and eating apples (no surprise there). Quite nice to drink.

500 ml bottle, from Birk Bryggeriutsalg, Klepp. ABV is 4.0%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citric and herbal hops, malts and grain too. The flavour is also citric and herbal, on a sufficient malt base. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad for 4.0% beer.

330 ml can, as Monkey Brew Wormhole 5.0 NEIPA, from Birk Bryggeriutsalg, Klepp. ABV is 4.7%. Hops are Sabro, Citra and Galaxy. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits (pineapple and others) and sprucetips. The flavour has the same elements. Decent enough to drink, but I get a sense of deja-vu with a beer like this.

January 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 5.5%. Beautiful amber to reddish brown colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of herbs, herbal hops and caramel, hints of liquorice. The flavour has a slight sweetness with notes of liquorice and caramel, and a dry herbal and hoppy finish, notes of black pepper and basil.

The flavour is malty and medium sweet, but has also a nice fruitiness. Mild oaky hints, vanilla, caramel and dark dried fruits again. Pleasant to drink.

The flavour has the same elements, but the sweetness is moderate. Low bitterness, but there are still a little bittering hops in the aftertaste.

Distinct aroma of brettanomyces, farmhouse, funk, rural kitchen, oxidized apples, lemons and oak. Very moderate carbonation. Sour flavour of brettanomyces, lemons, white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar and oak.
