440 ml can, from Coop Extra, Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, tropical fruits and flowers, some citrus. Light bodied, but not too bad for a beer of this ABV. The flavour is citric with hints of tropical fruits, tolerably malty, with a decent piney bitterness in the finish. Might well buy again.

July 2017: 330 ml can, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus, coriander, spicy yeast and herbal hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. Citrussy and yeasty flavour, moderate spicy notes, with more distinct hops than you are accustomed to find in a wheatbeer.

Fizzy mouthfeel, Medium sweet flavour, distinct spicy notes, both from spicy yeast and spicy hops. Also notes of white kandij sugar. Bitter aftertaste.

Sep. 2016: 650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity, herbal and piney American hops. Slightly dry flavour, nice to have an IPA that has not been killed by crystal malts. Piney and grapefruity hops, bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing.

Sep. 2016: 650 ml bottle, as Rubicon Rosebud Special Ale, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Beautiful reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, brown bread, mild spices and herbal hops. Malty flavour (10 different types of malted barley are used in the grist), mid between sweet and dry, with caramel and some mild roasty notes, including hints of roasted nuts, Spicy and herbal German and Czech hops in the finish.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 10. Golden colour, vigorously sparkling, moderate white head does not stay long. Aroma of white grapes, yeast, mild spices, oak. The flavour is fruity, slightly sweet & sour, with distinct notes of grape juice, hints of white wine vinegar, mild spices, oak. Interesting beer, but won't be my daily indulgence.

750 ml bottle, as Andersen Sigrid Æble Brut, batch #030500, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.5%. Apple varieties are Ingrid Marie, Belle de Boskoop and Jonagored. Clear and very pale straw colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a huge but shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of lagered and oxidised winter apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Fizzy and slightly citric mouthfeel. Apple flavour mid between dry and sweet, noticeable alcohol. Good, but overpriced.

Feb. 2015: 355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.7%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Hoppy aroma, notes of pine and spruce, hints of citrus and caramel. Distinctly hoppy flavour, piney and resinous notes, also grapefruit. Very bitter finish, but also very moreish and drinkable for its strength.

355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Golden colour, huge white head. Sweetish aroma of white kandij sugar syrup, newmown grass, herbs and mild spices. Medium sweet and yeasty flavour, again with notes of white kandij sugar, also fairly distinct notes of black and white peppercorn, noticeable hops in the finish. Not a bad beer, but a bit too sugary.

330 ml can, batch #1462, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. ABV is 5.6%. Hazy dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma and flavour of brown malts, brown bread and nuts, hints of caramel but not too sweet, also some citric hints in the background. Nice and easy drinking.

750 ml white waxed bottle (hard to open!) at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6 %. Hazy dark brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, red wine vinegar and a hint of oak. Relatively light bodied. Medium sour flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable hops. Refreshing.
