2428 | Svyturys Svyturio | Lithuania | Lager | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, at Gladmatfestivalen 2008, Stavanger (Pushkin restaurant). ABV was 5.0%. Golden colour, decent head. Moderate aroma, some malts. The flavour is slightly alcoholic (a bit of a surprise, the ABV is fairly moderate), but the beer is also quite well hopped, which makes it slightly-above-average for European golden lagers. |

2429 | Utenos | Lithuania | Pale Lager | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, large head. Moderate sweetish aroma with notes of pale lager wort, hints of maize (corn) too, some fruity aromatic hops. Moderate carbonation in the glass, soft mouthfeel. The flavour has some malty sweetness and tolerable hops in the finish. Not too bad for a standard pale lager, but I preferred their Pilsener. |

2430 | Carlsberg CopenHagen 56°N | Lithuania | Light / Lite Lager | 1.3
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml clear bottle, arbitrary sample. Extremely pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Sweetish and sugary aroma, some grassy notes. Nearly void of flavour, just a little sweetness. No aftertaste (at least no GOOD aftertaste), as intended by the brewers. Who the hell LIKES this beer? Calling it "piss" would be an insult to any active human kidney. |

2431 | Midus Trakai | Lithuania | Mead | 3.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011 in Oslo. ABV 15%. A still mead, golden colour. Strong aroma of honey and alcohol. Nice sweet honey flavour, a hint of fruitiness. As I’ve actually been to the (restored) old castle of Trakai many years ago, this mead brought back memories ... |

2441 | Luxembourg 95 | Luxembourg | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 This was originally a special pilsener for the year 1995, I think, but they continued brewing it. I had a home-swapping with a Luxembourgoise doctor in Nice, France, and we had agreed to keep something in our respective fridges for the thirsty "new" residents upon arrival. A sixpack of this beer was waiting for me, and in the heat of the French Riviera I'd swear this was the best thirst quencher I've ever had. Can you expect much more from a pilsener? Maybe I'd be less enthusiastic on a cold winter's day, but it surely was a clean-tasting and decent pilsener. |

Malty flavour too, brown bread again, also slightly burnt breadcrumbs, a little caramel but not very sweet, noticeable bittering hops in the finish. Okay beer. |
