The flavour is oaky and roasty with loads of chocolate, without being too sweet. Also notes of liquorice and espresso coffee. Well balanced, an excellent beer!

Decent hops in the finish.

Malty aroma, some woody and caramel notes, also roasty notes with hints of cold coffee, also hints of smoke and chocolate. Rich malty flavour, fairly sweet with notes of caramel and chocolate, also mild roasty notes in the finish, just a touch of smoke, very moderate hops. Pleasant to drink.

The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but not too bitter. Notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits up front, pine needles in the aftertaste. Very good and moreish.

The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, as expected from an IPA, with fruity notes. Bitter finish, but not too extreme. Not too sweet, refreshing.

355 ml bottle, as Lagunitas The Censored Rich Copper Ale, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV not mentioned on the label. Amber to copper colour, moderate off-white head. Fairly nice aroma of caramel and fruity hops, hints of old orange marmalade. The medium sweet flavour has also notes of caramel and a little fruit, but lacks hops and "freshness". Drinkable, but I expected more from Lagunitas.

The flavour is hoppy with notes of piney and grapefruity American hops - but not extreme for an American IPA. A touch of crystal malt sweetness. Bitter aftertaste. Pretty good beer.

355 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Black colour, huge greyish-brown head. Roasty dryish aroma, notes of wood, cocoa / chocolate, coffee and coconut, a hint of charcoal and smoke. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct notes of coconut, also notes of chocolate / cocoa and coffee. Moderate hops. Not too sweet, and the toasted coconut makes this porter something out of the ordinary. Weird, maybe, but unusual.

The flavour is wheaty and refreshing, with distinct notes of pineapple juice again. Minimal hops (18 IBU). Okay as a summer refreshment.

Sweetish malty aroma, notes of caramel and oak, hints of dark dried fruits and alcohol. Not as sweet flavour as I feared, malty and oaky, caramel and dried figs, well balanced with the hops, a nice bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Would buy again.

Strong and pleasant hoppy aroma, some mild roasty notes in the background. Distinct and powerful piney / hoppy flavour, fairly dry, moderate roasty notes. Massive bitterness in the finish.

Moderate wheaty aroma, just a hint of banana and cloves. Light bodied, plenty of carbonation. The flavour has distinct notes of cloves, hints of banana and bubble gum. Not too sweet. Drinkable, but the Germans do it better.
