330 ml bottle, batch #2124, from Coop Extra, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Hoppy aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Light bodied. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, with notes of pine needles / resin and grapefruit.

375 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 9.3%. Very dark reddish brown colour, nearly black. Large to moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, oak, vanilla, bourbon whiskey, a hint of crushed rowanberries. Sweet flavour with distinct notes of malts, oak and bourbon, again a hint of rowanberries. Good beer.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%, IBU 35. Hazy dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of brown bread and grapefruit, a hint of pine. Flavour of burnt breadcrumbs, grapefruit, pine needles and resin, a hint of bitter chocolate.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery, as Telemark Vinter. Parallell tasting with its alias, Telemark Bock. ABV is 6.5%, IBU 23. Dark reddish brown colour, large to moderate head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of bread, dust, caramel and over-ripe red berries. A certain difference in carbonation and mouthfeel, otherwise the two beers are obviously the same. The flavour is not too bad - notes of medium roast malts, caramel (but not very sweet), noticeable hops.

Nov. 2020: 750 ml corked & caged clear bottle, vintage 2019, from Vinmonopolet Odda. ABV is 8.5%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived head. Lovely aroma of Gravenstein and other dessert apple varieties. Medium sweet but still crisp flavour of eating apples. Light bodied and refreshing for its strength. An enjoyable cider!

Medium dry flavour of Gravenstein, some fruity acidity.

Moderate aroma of Discovery Rosette apples. Medium dry flavour of said apples, some tannins and "spicy" notes, hints of alcohol and sulphites.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Clear amber to pale brown colour, moderate to small white head. Moderate aroma of Vienna malts, hints of caramel and toffee, also hints of herbal hops. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements. Drinkable, but not particularly exciting.
