330 ml slimline can, from SPAR Jørpeland. ABV is 4%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Strong sweetish aroma of malt sugar and newmown grass. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. The flavour is citric, grassy and fairly crisp, but still with some residual sweetness, very moderate herbal hops in the finish. Better than I feared.

Aroma of peaches and papaya, a hint of meat stock and sweat. Medium sweet flavour, peaches and papaya again, a moderate piney bitterness in the finish.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.0%. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. Aroma of molasses / dark syrup, ginger, custard, chocolate, vanilla, pastry / bakery. The flavour is medium sweet, not quite as extreme as I feared, with the same elements as the aroma, also fruity notes of prunes. Low bitterness.

Moderate aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. The flavour has a lot more going on, distinct notes of various tropical fruits, also citrus, yellow stonefruits and pine needles. Moderate sweetness, very well balanced and enjoyable.

Aroma of pineapple, peaches and various tropical fruits, a hint of sprucetips. Fruity flavour with the same elements, also citrus and hints of pine needles, moderate bitterness. Good beer.

Nice aroma, notes of Nelson Sauvin hops (crushed gooseberries and white grapes), also notes of mild spices and herbs. Citric and somewhat fizzy mouthfeel, light bodied as expected. The flavour has citrus and fairly distinct spices and hops.

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.4%. Pale yellow colour, only slightly hazy. Moderate to small but lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, hints of tropical fruits and oatmeal. Good mouthfeel for its ABV. Citric flavour, again hints of tropical fruits and oatmeal, with a nice and fairly distinct piney bitterness in the finish.

Thin mouthfeel. Slightly citric flavour, some maize in the background, low bitterness. Drinkable, but not very exciting, and hardly the first choice of the beer enthusiast.

330 ml bottle, from Lilland's off-licence. ABV is 4.7%. Orange to pale brown colour, hazy when the yeast is poured in the end, large off-white head. Nice aroma of orange marmalade and piney hops. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel, but the body is sufficient for a session IPA. The flavour has notes of citrus and pine needles, and is not too sweet. Refreshing and nice to drink.

Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and yellow stonefruits. The flavour is first citric, followed by notes of the other said fruits. Hints of pine needles in the finish, moderate bitterness. Good beer.

500 ml can, from Rema 1000, Tau. ABV is 4.3%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Artificial aroma of raspberries / raspberrydrops - no real raspberries have been added to this beer, that's for sure. Light bodied, as expected. More artificial raspberrydrops in the flavour, but not overly sweet. A hint of metallic hops in the finish. Another tick for me - otherwise utterly forgettable, and not something I'll buy again, ever.

Aroma of yeast (far too yeasty), also notes of wheat and cloves. The flavour is also too yeasty, and moderately citric, notes of grain, hints of cloves. Still drinkable. Banana, yeast and grain in the aftertaste.

Feb. 2014: 500 ml can, as Clausthaler Weizen, from a REMA 1000 store. Brewed in Germany, canned by Hansa-Borg in Bergen. Cloudy orange colour, large to moderate white head. Surprisingly "normal " hefeweizen aroma of banana and cloves. The flavour is fairly bland, but still rather refreshing due to some citrussy notes and moderate hefeweizen characteristics. The finish however is very bland and dull, with hints of boiled vegetables. As a non-alcoholic beer, it is definitely not the worst of its kind.

May 2015: 500 ml bottle, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. ABV is 5.0%. BB date 03.14. Golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly fresh aroma, moderate notes of banana and cloves. The flavour is quite dry and refreshing, only very moderate notes of banana and cloves, the hops are more distinct than in most weissbiers.
