Cloudy peach to pink to red colour, pours sparkling with an off-white head that actually lasts a while. Aroma of sour apples, quince and cherries. The flavour is slightly dry with a nice fruity acidity, notes of apples, quince and cherries, hints of almonds and marzipan.

December 2020: 750 ml clear bottle, vintage 2018. Made of 60% Gravenstein and 40% mixed pears, so this is technically more of an apple cider than a perry. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but fairly shortlived head. Aroma of apples and pears. Fairly dry and crisp flavour, notes of apples and pears. A slight fruity acidity.

April 2013. 330 ml bottle from Superbrugsen, Hirtshals. ABV is 4.6%. Ingredients include glucose syrup and maize. Pale golden colour, moderate to low white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of maize, artificial candy and grass. The flavour is bland and boring, with a slight metallic bitterness in the finish, but the beer is not undrinkable. And it is ridiculously cheap, so if price is your only concern, feel free to dive in ...

September 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Superbrugsen Hirtshals. ABV is 6.0%. Hazy orange colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of citrussy hops, hints of spruce. Fairly well balanced flavour, first a slightly sweet fruitiness, followed by a distinct bitterness, quite sharp in the finish.

330 ml slimline can, as Crooked Moon Internal Pils, from Vaaland, Bryne. Brewed in Sweden. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Can't comment on the aroma, due to a cold. Soft mouthfeel. Crisp pilsener flavour, very bitter aftertaste.

July 2021: 500 ml bottle, shared by my son. Beautiful signal red colour, moderate pink head. Cherries and vanilla is a combination which is easy to go wrong with, but Lindheim appears to have succeeded here - both aroma and flavour seems to be well balanced, not too sweet, not too sour, just pleasant to drink.

April 2021: 500 ml bottle, as Swannay Magnus Blonde Extra Pale Viking Ale, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.3%. Pale straw colour, slightly hazy, large white head. Moderate grainy and malty aroma, a hint of honey. Moderate malty flavour, moderate earthy hops. A very slight fruitiness, again a hint of honey.

May 2018: 500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.2%. Orange to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Arpma of grain, ripe and over-ripe yellow fruits, caramel. Grainy and malty flavour, notes of brown bread and caramel, hints of dark fruits, moderate earthy hops. Decent beer.

August 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Det Gode Brygg, Sandnes. ABV is 3.9%.Golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice fruity aroma, hints of yellow plums and pineapple. Light bodied. Medium dry flavour, notes of citric and earthy hops, resinous in the medium bitter finish.

The flavour is medium dry and smooth, still with decent malts, and the same hints as in the aroma. Moderate hops. Easy drinking.
