Medium sweet flavour with notes of said over-ripe fruits. Piney finish, but the bitterness is low. Quite good.

Medium sweet flavour, again notes of apricots and tropical fruits, also some citrus, a moderate piney bitterness in the finish. A truly enjoyable beer!

October 2017: 330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. ABV in Norway was 4.7% at the time. Nearly clear and very pale straw colour, small white head. Aroma of wheat / buckwheat, witbier yeast, coriander and other spices, hints of citrus peel. Light bodied. The flavour is yeasty, wheaty and citrussy, notes of mild spices.

Extremely sweet and cloying flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Drinkable only in small portions - the can should be shared between minimum 4 persons, none of them should have diabetes. Oh Holy Mother of God!

Citric hops in the flavour too, again hints of tropical fruits, not too sweet, also hints of pine needles. Moderate bitterness, well balanced and very refreshing. Some days a "plain" but tasty beer like this one is all that I need.

January 2017: 500 ml bottle, batch #1713, from Coop Xtra, Sauda. ABV is 4.5%, IBU 20. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate to low white head. Aroma of coriander and various Christmas spices, including anise or liquorice. Also some citrussy / wheaty notes. Citrussy / wheaty flavour, said spices are there, but in moderate amounts. A nice and unusual Christmas brew, suitable to accompany the season’s fish dishes.
