6352 | Narke Kulturbryggeri Narke Slattol | Sweden | American Pale Ale | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 Bottle, RBESG 2005 Grand Tasting. Very nice hoppy aroma, citrus, pineapple. Flavour is dry and hoppy, light bodied, bitter aftertaste. Must be a great beer to drink when you have been working up a sweat doing farm work (or garden work) in the summertime. |

6358 | Fuglsang Hertug Ale | Denmark | Extra Special Bitter | 3.2
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Clear amber colour with a reddish hue. Very good lasting head and lacing. Malty aroma with notes of toffee and plums. Malty flavour with some caramel but not really sweet, like cris_o says: "earthy". Wet cardboard notes in a slightly sourish finish. Drinkable, but certainly no masterpiece. |

6359 | Litovel Classic | Czech Republic | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml can, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, good head. Very moderate aroma, some flowery Saazer hops. Moderate hops on a tolerably malty background in the flavour, nothing remarkable but I can’t detect any off-flavours either. A drinkable pils, not the best from the Czech Rep. but not horrible either. |

6360 | Krombacher Pils | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 I used to think that this was one of the best classic German pilseners I've had. I will need to re-rate soon to find out if my taste has changed. I suspect it will have - a brewery that spends that much money on advertising and sports sponsoring should always be regarded with some sound scepticism. |

6361 | Jacobsen Saaz Blonde | Denmark | Belgian Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Clear golden colour, moderate head that doesn’t last very long. Pleasant sweet aroma of banana, bubblegum, cloves and coriander, Saazer hops of course, hints of dried fruits and oak. Flavour is not that remarkable, spices and alcohol mainly, hints of nuts and oak too. Drinkable, but overpriced. |

6362 | Fuller's Organic Honey Dew | United Kingdom | English Pale Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, moderate head, good lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of malts and honey, some flowery notes too. Flavour is honey sweet and mellow but not cloying, fairly well balanced with the Target hops. Nice enough. |

6364 | København VesterWeisse | Denmark | Hefeweizen | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Draught at the brewpub. ABV was said to be 4.7%. Cloudy brownish golden colour. Lovely yeasty hefe aroma, "banana split" caramel candy and cloves. Typical hefe flavour, fairly dry. Slightly too bland and watery. It being served ICE cold probably didn’t help. |

6366 | Flensburger Pilsener | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 It's been a while since I had this - a Northern German pilsener with a substantial hoppy bitterness that lasts through the aftertaste. Together with Jever pilsener it has defined the "Northern German Pilsener style". Also available in the classic fliptop/swingtop bottle. |

Moderate roasty aroma with notes of chocolate and liquorice. Very moderate flavour with roastiness and some caramel, minimal hops. Moderate rye bread aftertaste. I’m not that impressed. |

6368 | Hansens Brauerei Pilsener | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Draught at the brewpub / restaurant. Golden colour, low head, slightly hazy. Minimal aroma. Average pilsener flavour with a certain hoppy bitterness. "Improved" when I finished it with my matjes herrings, like a pilsener normally would. |

6370 | Husumer Weizenbier | Germany | Hefeweizen | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Draught in the Brauhaus / brewpub / restaurant, which is situated in the Theodor Storm Hotel (a Best Western hotel) in Husum. Hazy golden colour, orange in the restaurant candlelight. Moderate head, fizzy. Strong cloves and banana aroma. Flavour has cloves and is fairly dry, there are some hops around too. Aftertaste is a bit "dusty". |

6371 | Husumer Dunkles | Germany | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Draught at the Brauhaus / brewpub’s tent at Husumer Hafentage. Served in a plastic glass. 6372 | Husumer Helles (Pilsner) | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Draught at the Brauhaus / brewpub’s tent at Husumer Hafentage. Was called a "Helles" there, also in the printed Brauhaus "newspaper" which served as a menu. No "Pilsner" mentioned there. While the brewpub’s website, on the other hand, makes no mention of a Helles other than the Pilsner, and the ABV is exactly the same (varies between 5.0 and 5.2%), I presume they are identical. After all, "hell/helles" simply means "pale", and the term is frequently used all over Germany for all kinds of pale lagers, not only the Southern German "style" Helles (if it really is a clearly defined style at all, which is debatable). Served ice cold in a plastic glass. Honey coloured, slightly hazy, low head. A helles / average pilsner with a fairly decent balance between hops and malts, but nothing exceptional going on here. |

6373 | Jacobsen Brown Ale | Denmark | Brown Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 750 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Copper coloured, good creamy off-white head. Pleasant malty aroma, notes of chocolate, toffee and nuts, hints of roastiness. Smooth and mellow mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour has caramel, toffee and some chocolate, slightly sugary. Faint notes of English malt vinegar in the background. Very moderate hops. No masterpiece, and not worth the relatively high price. |

6374 | Refsvindinge AZ Ale No.16 | Denmark | Brown Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. An ale based on pilsener malts, with artificial colouring, hmmm? Filtered and pasteurised. Pours with a beautiful chestnut colour, with a good creamy tan head. Nice malty aroma with notes of caramel, oak and dried fruits, hints of roastiness and tobacco. Flavour is malty sweet with caramel, one-dimensional, minimal bitterness. Smooth and mellow, I expected something better than this. |

6375 | B.B. Originál Svìtlý Ležák Budweiser Bier | Czech Republic | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml brown bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV there is 4.7%. Golden colour, moderate head. Moderate aroma - some grass, flowers and honey. Flavour is fairly clean with a moderately hoppy finish, aftertaste does not last forever. An average drinkable pilsener, but not much more than that. |
