Still, this grocery store version from Borg is drinkable esp. with food, nothing offensive about it - just a thin and watery mouthfeel as expected. Colour somewhere between amber and copper, moderate head, malty and slightly spicy aroma. Flavour is lightly malty with some caramel, but not too sweet. Far from complex. Not something to offer Santa (or Odin & Thor...) Go for the stronger version!

500 ml bottle, my wife bought this one for me in Prague. Typical hefeweizen appearance, hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma is also typical h.w.: strong notes of cloves, banana and citrus - nice. Flavour is more citrussy than some German h.w.s, cloves too, fairly light bodied, could have been more complex. Not bad though.

500 ml bottle, my wife bought this one for me in Prague. Golden colour, large and lasting head, looks slightly off-white. Moderate carbonation, which I like. Aroma is somewhat sweetish, with grassy and flowery aromatic hops. Nice hoppy bitterness in the flavour and aftertaste, but EXTRA bitter? Not more than you expect from a decent Czech golden lager. Still a lager well above average, as far as lagers go.

330 ml can. A mix of industrial cider and beer. "Includes malted barley and malted wheat". Pale golden colour, fizzy, head goes from large to none. Nauseating aroma of artificial pear candy, vomit and burnt rubber / industrial waste, absolutely disgusting. Artificial apple and sugar flavour, like the crappiest alcopop you can think of. Nothing resembling "beer" here. Blindfolded I would probably have denied that this could be a beer mix. Definitely "crapolainen". Couldn't finish the glass. Drainpour.

Sampled RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. Swingtop bottle, no ABV mentioned. Allegedly the world’s first hefeweissbier-pilsener hybrid. Cloudy pale golden colour, moderate head. Nice aroma and flavour where the traditional weissbier elements (cloves and banana) dominate, but also some German pilsener hops around (Hallertau, Tettnang?). Okay.
