4501 | Spar Cerveza Sin | Spain | Reduced Alcohol | 1.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, in Spain. ABV is less than 1%. Golden colour, moderate white head. The usual sickly n/a beer aroma of maize, over-boiled vegetables and stale grain. The flavour is somewhat better than the aroma - a boring pale lager flavour without being totally undrinkable. |

4502 | Emdbräu | Germany | Pale Lager | 2.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 330 ml can, bought in Spain. Brewed in the European Union for EMD Internationale Handelsgesells, Hans Martin Scheleyer Str. 2, D-77656 Offenburg, Germany, and European Marketing Distribution, CH-8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland. Ingredients include maize and stabilizer E-405. ABV is 4.5%. Pale yellow colour, big and lasting white head. Sweetish and grassy pale lager aroma, not interesting but not awful either. Moderate carbonation in the glass. The flavour is also sweetish but not cloying, with just enough hops to make this an easy drinking beer. Good for quaffing, better for forgetting. |

4503 | Lancaster Amber | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, a Christmas present from my nephew Einar, thanks! ABV is 3.7%. Amber to brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Nice aroma of toffee and floral hops, just a hint of citrus. The flavour is well hopped for its strength, with herbal and citrussy notes, on a background of toffee and malts. Highly drinkable, a pleasant English session ale - among so many others, yes, but well worth a session of its own. |

4504 | Midtfyns Rough Snuff Fisherman’s Ale | Denmark | Belgian Strong Ale | 2.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Big tan head. Weird and unpleasant sweetish aroma, strong notes of cough syrup, anise and tobacco. The flavour is somewhat better than the aroma, notes of dark malts, brown candi sugar, raisins and liquorice, the snuff tobacco is fairly moderate. Very moderate hops in the finish. Not a winner by me. |

4505 | Lancaster Blonde | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, a Christmas present from my nephew Einar, thanks! ABV is 4.1%. Golden colour, moderate white head, nice lacing. Moderate aroma, hints of citrus and elderflower. The flavour is fresh and zesty with notes of citrussy hops, also hints of tropical fruits, but the beer is not sweet. A firm bitterness in the finish, very nice. A decent refreshment ale. |

4506 | Lancaster Red | United Kingdom | Extra Special Bitter | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, a Christmas present from my nephew Einar, thanks! ABV is 4.9%. Copper coloured beer, moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Moderate malty aroma, notes of bakery and caramel, hints of red fruits. The flavour is fairly malty with distinct notes of caramel and brown bread, in a blind test I might first mistake this ale for a German dunkel. The earthy hops in the finish are more pronounced than in most dunkels, though. A very drinkable beer! |

4507 | Alhambra Especial | Spain | Pale Lager | 2.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 On tap in Tenerife, served ice cold. ABV unknown (there are at least two different ABV-versions of Alhambra Especial). Pale golden colour, creamy white head. Very moderate aroma, a little malts, citrus and a hint of vomit. "Neutral" pale lager flavour, nothing offensive but not much to make you happy either, some weak hops in the finish. |

4512 | Dorada Sin (Canarias) | Spain | Reduced Alcohol | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, at Tenerife. Pale yellow colour with big bubbles, and a moderate and short-lived coarse head. The usual n/a beer aroma of unhopped wort, grain, maize and over-cooked vegetables. The flavour has some malts and is fairly sweet, a hint of hops in the finish. Not good, but not the worst n/a beer I’ve had. |
