3371 | Daleside Santas Progress | United Kingdom | Bitter | 2.2
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Cask pint at Wetherspoons, London Victoria Station. Cloudy orange-brownish colour, low off-white head. Very moderate aroma, a little malts, a hint of butter. Minimal carbonation, poor condition. Initially dull flavour, quite dry. Some earthy hops in the finish cannot save the beer from falling in the "boring" category. Daleside can do better than this - and JDW should serve their beers in better condition. Could not finish the pint. |

3372 | Daleside Morocco Ale | United Kingdom | Spiced Beer | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.5%. Deep brown colour, large to moderate beige head. Unusual and interesting spicy and malty aroma, also notes of brown bread and caramel. The flavour is is also distinctly malty, medium sweet with some caramel, and a combination of exotic and "dusty" spices and hops that I’ve had in no other beer. More of a beer I’d like to have on a dark autumn night than on this hot summer’s day. |

3373 | Lervig Hoppy Joe | Norway | Amber Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Reddish brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Strong aroma of fruity hops, also notes of spruce, a hint of caramel malts in the background. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but not extreme, notes of spruce and some fruit again. There might be some caramel malt (and / or Munich malt) and chocolate malt in here, but they do not dominate, the beer is fairly dry, no more residual sweetness than necessary. Very drinkable, must pair well with many foods too. Another good one from Lervig and Mike Murphy! |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Citra single hop version. Sample on tap at Gladmatfestivalen, Malt & Humle. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of tropical fruit juice. The slightly sweet flavour is still evidence that this is a beer and not just fruit juice, still with notes of tropical fruits. Well balanced bitterness. Good beer. |
