Rerate 13.04.2022: 660 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 10.0%. Pitch black colour, large to moderate brown head. Full score on appearance! I'm also upping the mouthfeel and overall score. Otherwise as first sample. Original rating: Shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, low tan head. 2957 Fierce / NZBC The Main Event United Kingdom Imperial IPA 3.3

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of over-ripe pineapple and slightly decaying tropical fruits, also old orange marmalade. Lacks the characteristics I've come to expect from Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. The flavour has also an unfresh character, with notes of stale or decaying fruits. Some lactose(?) sweetness. Low bitterness. Clearly drinkable after all, but not as good as expected.
