750 ml bottle, batch #1971, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Opaque and "dirty" peach colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of rhubarb, solvent and dust, a hint of strawberries. The flavour is better than the aroma, a distinct fruity acidity of rhubarb, only a hint of strawberries. The solvent notes from the aroma unfortunately ruins the drinking experience. Won't buy again.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.2%. "With a blow of Cranberry, Elderberry, Sour cherry." Hops are Chinook and Challenger. Reddish amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma of said berries / red fruits, hints of balsamic vinegar and oak. Medium sour flavour, again notes of balsamic vinegar and oak, and said berries / fruits. Low bitterness.

330 ml test bottle from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 4.5%, 30 EBU. Hops are Sladek (bittering) and Amarillo (dryhopping). Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of Amarillo hops, notes of tropical fruits, also some spruce and sweetish malts. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but not too bitter. The bittering hops come through in the aftertaste though. Refreshing and fruity with resinous notes, medium dry. Light bodied as expected, but not watery. Quite enjoyable.

330 ml red waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.9%. Pitch black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, sweat, bourbon, oak and coconut. Roasty and slightly sourish flavour, notes of malts, coffee, red wine vinegar, bourbon, oak and coconut. Not as great as I anticipated.

Moderate to low carbonation, rich mouthfeel. Very sweet flavour (too sweet), with the same elements as in the aroma.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 61. Nearly clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma has moderately fruity (berries more than citrus) and piney notes, also distinct notes of toffee. Surprisingly good body for a gluten free ale of this ABV. The slightly sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, and a distinct and rather sharp hop bitterness in the finish.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at a very reasonable price (for Norway, that is), probably the cheapest beer per liter you can get at Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.1%. Moderately hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of banana and cloves. Banana and cloves in the flavour too, a little citrus, Hardly any bitterness. Well worth the money, might buy again.

Aroma of roast malts, heavy syrup, molasses, vanilla, prunes and chili. Rich and warming mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Flavour of roast malts, chili, prunes, coffee, chocolate and vanilla.

Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, mild spices, mild coffee, blackberries, blackcurrants, liquorice. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, the roasty notes are more pronounced now, and there is a distinct hop bitterness in the finish. Also a hint of smoke.

Strong aroma of over-ripe bananas, also notes of yeast and cloves. Nice wheaty flavour with citrus, banana and cloves. Very refreshing for its strength. Might well buy again.

Aroma of oak, whisky, brown sugar, caramel, dark dried fruits and mild spices. Rich and malty flavour with the same elements as the aroma, warming mouthfeel.

Rich flavour with distinct notes of oak and armagnac, also brown kandij sugar, vanilla, dark dried fruits and mild spices.

375 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Bottled 02/2021. ABV is 10.5%. Deep ruby to mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Distinct aroma of rum, caramel, brown sugar and oak. Slightly warming mouthfeel. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, some vanilla too, but the rum dominates a tad too much, very few elements remain of the original Grand Reserve / Bleu. A good beer, anyway.

Nice aroma of tropical fruits and citrus, a hint of spruce. Light bodied. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, citrus and tropical fruits again, apparently no lactose, a slight resinous bitterness in the finish.

Nice aroma of tropical fruits (papaya, guava, mango), some citrus too, a hint of caramel. The flavour is very sweet (too sweet) with loads of lactose and caramel, nearly drowning the notes of citrus and tropical fruits, a hint of sprucetips.

Aroma of tropical fruits (mango, lychee, pineapple), also hints of crushed white grapes and green gooseberries, some citrus too. There might be a certain fruitiness from the kveik too, but it drowns in all the fruity hops. Flavour of citrus and said tropical fruits, also notes of pine needles and sprucetips. Pleasant to drink.

Smooth and somewhat fruity (plums / prunes) flavour, with the same elements as the aroma (minus the flower water), very moderate hops. Nice to drink.

Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, with surprisingly distinct bittering hops in the aftertaste.

Good mouthfeel for its ABV. Soft flavour with a nice balance between the malts and the floral and herbal hops, a hint of caramel again, but not too sweet. Might well buy again.

Aroma of Trappist yeast, white kandij sugar syrup and mild spices, a hint of orange peel. Fizzy mouthfeel. The medium sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, but the spicy notes are more distinct now. Also a noticeable hop bitterness in the finish.

500 ml can, from SPAR Jørpeland. Brewed with mango juice concentrate. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale yellow colour, only slightly hazy, large white head. Fairly fresh aroma of mango and "peach" candy. Citric mouthfeel, The flavour has notes of citrus, mango and peaches, with a fairly distinct bitterness in the finish. Better than I feared, but won't be my daily indulgence.
