Shared 500 ml bottle. ABV is 9%. Nice aroma of roast malts, distinct notes of liquorice, hint of chocolate. The flavour is very roasty, again with distinct notes of liquorice. Not too sweet. Malty flavour with toasted brown bread again, but not very sweet. A moderate but nice fruitiness makes the beer very drinkable. Decent bittering hops in the finish.

500 ml bottle, probably from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Mahogany colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of caramel and burnt breadcrumbs, some earthy hops too. Light bodied. The flavour has also notes of caramel, but is quite dry. Again notes of bread / burnt breadcrumbs. Some weak fruity notes too. Low bitterness. Quite drinkable.

The mouthfeel is somewhat fizzy and citric. Decent and well balanced flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, but the earthy hops are more distinct now, with a reasonably bitter finish.

330 ml clear bottle, from Helgø Meny Bogafjell. ABV is 4.7%. Dirty greyish-orange colour, minimal head that disappears instantly. Aroma of over-ripe and decaying mango and pineapple, hints of vomit. The flavour is moderately sour and quite sweet, with notes of over-ripe mango and pineapple, and lactic acid. Hardly any bitterness, and overall very little here to remind you that this is a beer.

Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. The medium sweet flavour has notes of roast malts, peat smoke, iodine, whisky, oak and decent bittering hops, also fruity hints of prunes and sherry. Well balanced and enjoyable.

Strong aroma of farmhouse. horse blanket, lemons, oak and apple cider vinegar. Medium sour flavour with lemony and oaky notes, fairly distinct and peppery hops in the finish. "Beware the ides of March!"

Sweetish aroma of malts, maize and floral hops. The flavour is drier and crisper than the aroma made me expect, and fairly refreshing. Moderate malts, rice and maize, with moderate herbal and "spicy" hops.

The flavour is fairly dry, but has a sufficient malt base to support the Seville orangey, grapefruity and piney hops and the distinctly bitter finish / aftertaste.

INTENSE aroma of ripe and over-ripe raspberries, some spicy notes too. Strong sour / acidic flavour with loads of raspberries, also notes of lemons. If this is what you like, that’s what you get.
