330 ml bottle, from Coop Extra Tau. ABV is 4.6%. Clear and very pale golden colour, small white head. Moderate aroma of grain and some citric hops. Lagerish mouthfeel (well, it IS a lager). Reasonably fresh flavour, not too sweet, a little citrus, low bitterness. A half-decent summer refreshment, no more, no less.

330 ml can, from the brewery. ABV is 12%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. The aroma is fairly moderate, with the expected notes of roast malts, mild coffee and dark chocolate. The flavour is medium dry, with distinct notes of roast malts, strong coffee and dark bitter chocolate, also distinct bittering hops. Good beer!

March 2022: 330 ml can, from Coop Mega Madla Handelslag. ABV is 0.5%. Very pale and nearly clear straw colour, small white head. Aroma of flowers and tropical fruits, hints of peaches. Some malts and baby porridge in the background. Thin mouthfeel as expected. Citric flavour, some grainy notes, low bitterness. Drinkable, but not much "Punk" about this one.

330 ml bottle, from Asia Matbutikken, Jørpeland. Made in Nigeria. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of malts, grain and caramel. Sweet flavour, lots of malts / malt sugar and caramel.

330 ml can, from the brewery. ABV is 8.1%. Murky brownish-orange colour, moderate to small off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, a hint of sweat. The flavour is not too sweet, rather dry actually, with a fairly light body for its ABV. Distinct bittering hops as expected, notes of resin, pine needles and grapefruit.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy yellow to orange colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of yellow stonefruits. The flavour has first slightly sweet notes of yellow stonefruits, followed by a fairly distinct and sharpish hop bitterness, dry aftertaste.

April 2015: Cask half pint at the New Inn, Gloucester. Served a tad too warm. Copper to brown colour, minimal head, slightly off-white. Nice lacing. Malty aroma with hints of toffee, some fruit. Malty flavour, nutty notes, a hint of caramel but not really sweet. Definitely drinkable, but not great.

July 2017: Keg pint at the Station Pub, Castleford. Golden colour, creamy white head. Weak aroma, but not offensive. Smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing clean flavour, fairly dry, but the hops are too moderate. Still not nearly as bad as I feared.

Sep. 2013: 500 ml can, from a 7-Eleven store in Copenhagen. ABV is 10%. Ingredients include glocose syrup and maize. Clear pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Strong sweetish and sugary aroma of light syrup, grass and alcohol. Sweet and alcoholic flavour, sugary and unpleasant with some bittering hops in the finish. If I actually had finished the can, I would have considered rehab.

Malty and spicy aroma, hints of jam and over-ripe fruits. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, hints of caramel, moderate hops.

Nice witbier aroma with notes of citrus and coriander. Light bodied. Refreshing flavour, a slight sweetness, citrus and moderate coriander. Very moderate hops. Might well buy again, a typical summer beer.

Aroma of grassy and citrussy hops, with some unusual and interesting spicy notes in the background, also a hint of tobacco. The flavour is fairly dry, with distinct hops throughout, herbal and spicy notes, ending in a little fruity sweetness.

Smooth and pleasant flavour, moderately roasty with notes of dark chocolate, also some dark fruits in the background, not too sweet. A nice and very drinkable porter.

Jan. 2018: 500 ml bottle conditioned, as Walthamstow Beer Green Hopped Pale Ale, brewed by the East London Brewing Company. ABV is 4.4%. From Ales By Mail. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Moderate to small white head. Aroma of herbal and grassy hops. Light bodied. The flavour has a slight fruity acidity, a very slight sweetness, and herbal and earthy hops. Not bad, but no winner.

Feb. 2018: 330 ml bottle conditioned Strong Ale, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 8.5%. Amber to brown colour, clear first, hazy when the yeast is poured in. Moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, dark dried fruits and caramelized orange marmalade, also nutty notes. Medium sweet and malty flavour, again notes of dark dried fruits, caramel, nuts and caramelized marmalade. Moderate hops in the finish. Slightly warming mouthfeel.

Smooth flavour, medium sweet, chocolate and oatmeal again, low bitterness. Original rating: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB 06/2014. ABV is 5.8%. Black colour, minimal tan head. Aroma of oats, chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth flavour, oats, coffee and chocolate again, also liquorice.
