The flavour is better than expected, has the same elements as the aroma, also distinct bittering hops, not too sweet, all well balanced.

Aroma of brown kandij sugar syrup, caramel, Belgian ale yeast and dried figs. The flavour has the same elements, but is not too sweet. Hints of mild spices. Very moderate hops. Nice enough to drink.

The flavour is bitter and fairly sweet, notes of grapefruit and pine / resin again, also caramel and toffee. Hints of over-ripe stonefruits.
