On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour. large tan head. Distinct aroma of chocolate / cocoa, caramel, vanilla and lactose, only a hint of cinnamon. The flavour is not too sweet, but has the same elements as the aroma, also some mild coffee notes and moderate bittering hops.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Sourish aroma, some hops. Reasonably bitter flavour, but not very complex. I'm not really impressed by this one.

November 2022: 500 ml can, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 3.5%. Hazy yellow colour, huge white head. Pleasant and strong aroma of tropical fruits, melon and citrus, hints of sprucetips. Light bodied as expected, citric mouthfeel. The flavour is also citric with hints of tropical fruits, also quite bitter, nearly medicinal in the aftertaste.

Clear signal red colour, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived pink head. Aroma of apples and strawberries, a hint of rhubarb. Medium sweet flavour of apples, strawberries and rhubarb.

330 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Moderately hazy orange to brown colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and orange marmalade, okay, but surprisingly little complexity of aromas from that many hop varieties. Medium sweet flavour, both malts and hops in abundancy, citric and piney notes, reasonably bitter.

The flavour has notes of roast malts and coffee, also caramel, treacle and toffee, but not too sweet. Moderate bittering hops in the finish.

Medium sweet flavour, chocolate, vanilla and roast malts again, hints of mild coffee and liquorice, moderate bittering hops.

Strong aroma of over-ripe pineapple, papaya and guava, hints of citrus and sprucetips. Sweet (too sweet?) flavour of said over-ripe fruits and alcohol. Low to moderate bitterness.

330 ml bottle, batch #121, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, dark dried fruits and mild spices. The flavour has the same elements, and the spiciness is more distinct now. Moderate hops. Fairly good beer.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 7.5%. Crystal clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, newmown grass and some alcohol. Slightly sweet flavour of malts and alcohol, moderate bittering hops in the finish. Not great, but I expected it not to be - at least it is cheap. As much bang for the bucks as you can get at Vinmonopolet - if you are desperate enough.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 8.0%. Opaque / murky yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits (particularly pineapple), citrus and lactose. The flavour has some lactose sweetness, but not too much. Citrus and tropical fruits again. Hints of pine needles and sprucetips, but the bitterness is low.

750 ml clear bottle, from Helgø MENY, Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pink to orange colour, pours sparkling with a moderate white head. Strong aroma of dessert apples, rosehips and rhubarb. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, distinctly fruity, dominant apples, also rosehips and rhubarb.

Rich mouthfeel. Flavour of citrus and said fruits, hints of pine needles, but the bitterness is low. Some sweetness, but not too much. Good beer.

Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of orange marmalade and citric hops, a hint of woodwork. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, notes of bitter oranges, pine needles and resinous bittering hops.
