Malty aroma and flavour, some roast, hints of caramel but quite dry. Spicy rye notes, hints of rye bread. Decent hops. I'm upping the score a bit. Original rating: Keg pint at The Globe, Brentford. Served ice cold. Reddish brown colour, off-white head. Moderate aroma of fruity hops. Fairly well hopped amber ale, some pine / resin, grapefruit and a hint of lightly roasted malts. |

Aroma and flavour have mild roasty notes, mild coffee, chocolate. Silky smooth flavour, very pleasant to drink. Sure, there are "bigger" stouts out there, but this one is impossible to dislike. |

Distinct aroma of fruit cake and fortified/oaked wine The flavour is not too sweet (surprisingly dry, actually), and has distinct notes of armagnac oak barrel. Decent hops in the finish. Will buy again when I can get a whole bottle, I expect I will have no problem finishing it. |

Cloudy and very dark brown colour, probably the darkest IPA I've seen (except black IPAs, of course). Moderate to small off-white to beige head. Aroma of over-ripe red berries, jam, piney and earthy hops. The flavour is medium sweet and distinctly hoppy, notes of jam / marmalade, piney and earthy hops again. Slightly warming mouthfeel. Impressive. |

Fruity and fairly distinct spicy flavour. Moderate hops, a little more would not hurt, even for a tripel. A lovely beer anyway. |

Attractive aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and pine. Well hopped flavour, but not overdone. Notes of citrus and other fruits make the beer very drinkable, the moderate piney bitterness seems just right for a session. Original rating: RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at the BrewDog bar. Golden colour. Well hopped aroma and flavour, notes of tropical fruits and citrus, some pine. Easy drinking - a fine "session" IPA that could easily become a regular of mine. |
