330 ml bottle, bought at the brewery. ABV is 9.3%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, white kandij sugar syrup, stewed fruits and mild spices. Sweet and spicy flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also dead yeast cells and an unexpectedly bitter finish.

330 ml bottle, from Lorentsens Vinforsyning, Ebeltoft. ABV is 6.1%. Clear golden colour, large white head. Pleasant floral and fruity aroma, some yeasty notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour of malts with a hint of caramel, distinct grapefruity hops, good bitterness.

Shared 330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 9%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate, mild coffee and liquorice. Rich and medium sweet flavour with the same elements as in the aroma, chocolate and liquorice dominate.

Shared bottle at local tasting, as Ebeltoft Lust for Life Session IPA. ABV was 5.5%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, some pine too. Medium dry flavour of fruity hops, with a piney and bitter finish. Good beer. *Bought again in Denmark. "Session IPA" is no longer part of the name, and ABV is 5.2%.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 5.0%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of grassy, floral and herbal German hops, on a background of sweetish pilsener malts. Crisp and refreshing pilsener flavour, some residual sweetness, the hops become sharp and medicinal in the aftertaste.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Ebeltoft Saison French Farmhouse Ale. ABV is 6.0%. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Moderate but pleasant aroma of mild spices and herbs, both from the hops and the yeast. Pleasant dry flavour, again spicy and herbal notes.

330 ml bottle, as Ebeltoft Weissbier, shared by my son. ABV is 5.3%. Hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana and cloves. The flavour has just the right moderate sweetness, and is wheaty, fresh and refreshing. Moderate notes of citrus, banana and cloves.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. Sightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain and dust, only a hint of orange peel and coriander. Citric and wheaty flavour, fairly refreshing, notes of coriander seeds and cloves, a hint of orange peel.

Bottle, at Haket, Göteborg. Black colour, moderate but lasting creamy head. Strong aroma of roast malts, chocolate and elderberries. Flavour is mellow and rounded with chocolate and elderberries, surprisingly well balanced.

March 2019: 330 ml bottle, as Verhaeghe Echt Kriekenbier, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.8%. Clear deep red colour, moderate to small off-white / pinkish head. Strong aroma of sour cherries, brettanomyces / farmhouse and oak. Sour and medium sweet flavour with cherries galore, some brett and oak.

500 ml can, as Edelmeister Gluten Free Lager, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 4.2%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Grassy and grainy aroma. The flavour is slightly citric and easy drinking, there is some residual sweetness, and the bitterness is low.

(33 cl can, bought in Greece). Pale golden colour, poor head. Moderate malty sweet aroma, hints of boiled vegetables. Sweetish boring flavour, some bitterness in the finish. A poor attempt at a pils.

(500 ml bottle). Typical hefe cloudy golden, large head. Lovely strong aroma of ripe bananas, bubblegum and cloves. Cloves in the flavour too, light bodied, tasty but could still use some more "bite". Like most weissbiers not too much aftertaste. Good, not outstanding.

Sample from 330 ml bottle at the Brewery International stand, Smak 09. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, hazy, moderate head. Moderate hefeweizen aroma, notes of cloves and bubblegum. The flavour is fairly dry with moderate notes of cloves.

Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Amber colour, low head. Very moderate aroma, a slight fruitiness and maltiness. Boring flavour - "dusty" malty with a hint of caramel, but quite dry. Minimal bitterness.

Oct. 2015: 355 ml bottle, from the Danish importer. ABV is 4.0%. Certified organic. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe mixed berries. Light bodied. Dry flavour, with discrete notes of mixed berries, hardly any bitterness nor any other sign of hops. Not a winner by me.

Dec. 2015: 355 ml bottle, from the Danish importer. ABV is 6.7%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of piney and citrussy hops, also dust. Fairly easy drinking , medium dry flavour with citrussy notes, moderate resinous hops in the finish. Bitter aftertaste.

Sep. 2016: 650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Black colour, large tan head. Lovely aroma of roast malts, oak, oaked red wine, liquorice, chocolate, prunes, mild coffee. Slightly sweet flavour with the same elements as in the aroma, the roast malts, coffee and chocolate notes come forward stronger now, also hints of vanilla. Moderate hops (28.5 IBU). Warming mouthfeel. Excellent beer.
