1051 | Bøllingsø Tollundmanden | Denmark | Extra Special Bitter | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV is 5.3%. Amber colour, large and lasting off-white head. Fairly nice aroma, some sweetish toffee and caramel notes, also some "dusty" hops. A hint of fruit too. The flavour has also moderate notes of toffee and caramel, but is otherwise fairly dry. Decent hops and some woody notes in the finish. Maybe not exceptional, but nice enough to drink. |

1063 | Brahma (Holland) | Netherlands | Pale Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml clear bottle, as Brahma Cerveja do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, Premium Lager. Brewed and distributed by InBev UK Ltd., Luton LU1 3LS. ABV is 4.3%. Bought at Carrefour, Cartagena, Spain. Golden colour, moderate white head. Weak grassy and sweetish "industrial" aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Utterly bland and boring flavour, nothing pleasant about it at all. The little flavour there is, is metallic, dusty, cardboardy and "industrial". Stomach-turning and revolting. Drainpour. |

1064 | Brains Bread of Heaven | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Cask conditioned at the Alexandra Hotel ("The Alex"), Derby. Copper coloured, moderate malty and caramel aroma. This is a malty "bitter" in the Welsh style, i.e. with very little actual bitterness, just some dusty hops in the finish. A slight acidity keeps it from being too sweet. |

"Double dropped", ABV is 3.4%. Brewed with Maris Otter malts, Goldings and Fuggles hops. Copper coloured, low head. Aroma of "dusty" Goldings hops + rusty iron in stale water + hospital flesh wound dressings(!)
