6327 | Telemark Pilsner (Sheriff Pils) | Norway | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Rerate, as Telemark Pilsner: Same shit, new wrapping. Original rating: 330 ml bottle, as Telemark Sheriffpils, from the brewery, ABV is 4.7%. Brownish golden colour, slightly hazy, small white head. Aroma of yeast and malts, some herbal hops. Citric mouthfeel. Yeasty and grainy flavour, some sharpish and medicinal bittering hops. Not good. |

6329 | Telemark Vinter (Bock) | Norway | Bock | 3.0
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, from the brewery, as Telemark Vinter. Parallell tasting with its alias, Telemark Bock. ABV is 6.5%, IBU 23. Dark reddish brown colour, large to moderate head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of bread, dust, caramel and over-ripe red berries. A certain difference in carbonation and mouthfeel, otherwise the two beers are obviously the same. The flavour is not too bad - notes of medium roast malts, caramel (but not very sweet), noticeable hops. |

6330 | Teme Valley Wotever Next? | United Kingdom | Extra Special Bitter | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned, ABV is 5.0%. According to the label, the beer is now available only in bottles. The beer gushes out of the bottle when opening. Hazy reddish brown colour, huge, creamy and long lasting off-white head. Vinous aroma with notes of moderate malts, barnyard and balsamic vinegar. Flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but there is also a moderately sweet maltiness with hints of caramel. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Bitter aftertaste. I get a "homebrew" feeling with this one. I like it! |

6332 | Tennents Extra | United Kingdom | Pale Lager | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Bottle, bought in Norway at Vinmonopolet. Pale lager. Simply called "Tennent's" here, but the ABV (5%) tells me it's not the British standard Tennent's Lager, so it must be the Extra. An ordinary lager, easily drinkable without too much of anything. However, I won't buy it again of two reasons: a) In Norway, the price is twice that of domestic lagers / pilsener, while the beer isn't that much better (well, it's 0,3 - 0,5% stronger). b): When in Scotland, I will most certainly prefer a good Scottish ale to any lager! |

6333 | Tennents Lager | United Kingdom | Lager | 2.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5 440 ml can, as Wellpark Tennent’s, brewed at Wellpark Brewery, Glasgow. Bought in Spain. ABV is 4.0%. "Lager" is not part of the beer’s name, but I assume this is just a slightly weaker version of the ordinary Tennent’s Lager. Golden colour, moderate white head, some lacing. Weak sweetish and "industrial" aroma. Fairly refreshing flavour, tolerable hops, and not quite as thin as feared from a 4.0% lager. |

6334 | Tennents Special 70 | United Kingdom | Scottish Ale | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 The nitro version is known as Tennent's Velvet. I had a few pints on nitro tap in Glasgow, must have been Tennent's even if the glass just read ’Velvet’. Well, the pints I had certainly deserved their name, velvety, smooth and creamy indeed. The beer may not be outstanding, but GOOOOD, to be sure! Moderate grapefruity elements with hints of caramel. |

6335 | Tenute Collesi Imper Ale Maior Nera | Italy | Abbey Dubbel | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Like all beers from this brewery, it comes in a very stylish bottle. The content of the bottle is not equally impressive. Sample at Copenhagen Beer Festival, from a new bottle. The guy in the bar rolled the bottle vigorously, to get the maximum flavour out of the sediment. I’m not sure that this was such a good idea. Murky brown appearance, low head. Moderate aroma and flavour of "dusty" malts and a little hops, hints of a slight ashy roastiness. Not undrinkable, but very boring - and not something I will buy again. |

6336 | Terrapin Tree Hugger | United States | Altbier | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Cask half pint at JDW, Victoria Station, London. ABV was 5.0%. Brewed at Shepherd Neame. Dark amber to brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma and flavour of toffee and caramel, but the beer is not very sweet. Very moderate bitterness, a bit disappointing for an "American" guest brew. |

6337 | Tērvete Kvass Godu | Latvia | Reduced Alcohol | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 1,5 liter brown PET bottle, with a Norwegian label, as Tervete Baltika Kwas, from an immigrant's store in Jørpeland. ABV is not mentioned on the bottle, but the kwas is brewed on malts and naturally fermented. Very dark brown, nearly black, pours sparkling with a shortlived tan head. Aroma of black rye bread, with a hint of caramel. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugar, caramel, prunes and dark rye bread. Fairly drinkable. |

6339 | The 4 Elements | Germany | Pale Lager | 1.8
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 330 ml clear bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga (Spain), at a price about 5x as much as an average Spanish supermarket lager - without being the least better. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, pearly carbonation, low white head. "Skunky" and grassy Heineken-like aroma, also sweetish hints of citrus. Very bland and neutral flavour for a German Reinheitsgebot pale lager - I assume hops should be one the 4 elements, but the brewers sure haven’t used much of them! A faint hint of citrus, slightly metallic finish (as far as there is any finish at all). One to forget. |

6340 | The Bruery Coton | United States | Old Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011 in Oslo. "Anno 2010 Anniversary". 25% of this ale had been aged in bourbon barrels, the remaining 75% were not barrel aged. Sampled at a time of the tasting when I was slowly getting slightly inebriated, and the 14.5% ABV of this beer did not help much ... Cloudy brown colour. Malty sweetish aroma, loads of molasses and alcohol. Rich malty flavour, a certain fruitiness balances the sweetness. Moderate but noticeable hops. |

6341 | The Bruery Mash & Coconut | United States | American Barleywine | 4.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 13%. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of toasted coconut, bourbon, oak, vanilla, molasses and fusel alcohols Warming mouth- and throatfeel. The flavour is sweet and malty, but still not quite as sweet as I feared. Toasted coconut, bourbon, oak and vanilla again, moderate hops. |

Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Shared 750 ml bottle, at Café Sara, Oslo. ABV was 7%. Black colour, low beige head. Lovely brett aroma, also oaky and roasty notes, brandied fruits, quite complex. Sour flavour, lemony notes, the roasty notes are quite subdued. Tart finish. |

6344 | The Bruery Saison de Lente | United States | Saison | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 750 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. The glass fills completely with a huge white head, while a pale golden and slightly hazy beer only slowly appears. Rustic aroma with notes of farmhouse (brettanomyces) and oxidised apples, also spicy notes (coriander, cloves). Moderate carbonation in the mouth. The flavour is distinctly hoppy and moderately spicy throughout, with a bitter finish. Easy drinking for its strength. |

6345 | The Bruery Saison Rue | United States | Saison | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 750 ml bottle at Øl & Mat-festivalen, Oslo. ABV is 8.5%. The beer starts pouring out of the bottle by itself. Cloudy amber colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of Belgian ale yeast, fruity and spicy notes. Fruity, spicy and yeasty flavour, quite nice. Very moderate hops. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.6%. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Pleasant sweetish and fruity (citrus and strawberries) and spicy (thai basil, coriander, cloves) aroma. The flavour has some sweetness, but not more than normal for a tripel. Fruity and fairly distinct spicy flavour. Moderate hops, a little more would not hurt, even for a tripel. A lovely beer anyway. |

6348 | The Cannabis Club Sud | Germany | Spiced Beer | 1.0
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 Woooah! Eureka! I found it! The worst beer in the world! Strange yellow/orange colour, like your morning urine when you have the flu and have been drinking too little. Smells and tastes like undefined nauseous industrial waste. (The hemp oil, I guess). Absolutely horrid, disgusting, abominable, appalling, detestable. Has anyone ever bought a SECOND bottle of this? Every school kid should be given a free bottle of this "beer" to keep them away from cannabis forever. Down the toilet it went (didn't want to contaminate the kitchen sink). I still shudder when I think of it. |

6349 | The Duck-Rabbit Märzen | United States | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 355 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. ABV is 4.8%. Hazy orange-brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of wood, resin, smoke and ashes, hints of caramel. The flavour has first some malty sweetness with caramel, but ends dry and ashy. Quite moderate resinous hops. Hints of smoke. Drinkable, but not something I’ll buy again. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 355 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. ABV is 5.8%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge and lasting beige head. Moderate aroma of dark / roasted malts and ice coffee, a hint of dark chocolate. Soft, dry and quite drinkable flavour, notes of black malts and mild coffee, hints of dark chocolate and ashes. Nothing exceptional here, but okay. Won’t buy again though. |
