This one (5.4% ABV) is far better than their 4.5% version Premium Lager, The 5.4% version is quite malty, with a barely sufficient hoppiness. An acceptable premium lager, not great but well worth having with (or without) a meal in Spain. This rating is based on a bottle bought in Norway, had travelled well.

330 ml can, in Bali, brewed under licence by PT Delta, Indonesia. ABV is 4.9%. Pale golden colour, low white head. Weak aroma, some "dusty" malts. Fizzy mouthfeel. Bland pale lager flavour, at least it is not too sweet. Boring.

Below average lager. You're bound to find better alternatives than this one. Bland, corn, uninteresting. The slightly stronger San Miguel Especial (Spain) is at least somewhat better.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe, as Red Horse Beer. ABV is 8%. Brewed for San Miguel in Hong Kong. Clear golden colour. Awful aroma. Bad flavour too, drainpour. The only reason to drink this is if you are an alcoholic living on the street in Hong Kong in a cardboard box.

Aroma of apples and apple cores. Fizzy and slightly citric mouthfeel. Flavour of Red Aroma apples. A bit one-dimensional, but okay.

Interesting and complex aroma of various apple varieties, appleskin, hints of oak and sulphites. Dry and crisp flavour, notes of eating apples, great with food, but also enjoyable on its own.

Pale and clear golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of cider apples, a hint of sulphites. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, notes of apples, a hint of sulphites.

330 ml can, as Sandford Orchards Saint Louis Dry Hopped Devon Cider, infused with U.S. hops. ABV is 5.5%. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Clear and very pale yellow colour, pours sparkling with a moderate to small white head. Distinct aroma of cider apples and floral and herbal hops, hints of oak. The crisp flavour has notes of fresh apples and citric and herbal hops. Some residual sweetness, the bitterness is low.

A non-alcoholic Christmas beer! Sounds like a joke - tastes like a joke too. Brownish golden colour, just a little darker than the ordinary Clausthaler. Malty aroma that gets sickly as the beer warms up. Sickly flavour, foul aftertaste. Avoid!

Wheaty aroma, notes of cloves, hints of citrus, banana and dust. The flavour is citrussy and somewhat acidic, minimal hops. Refreshing, but not very interesting.

Flavour is surprisingly clean tasting, no sign of adjuncts and off-flavours, tolerable hops. Well, it’s a light bodied pale lager - I don’t expect miracles, but it sure was a lot better than I feared.

Cask conditioned at The Three Judges, Glasgow, as "Sarah Hughes Ruby Ale" - I presume this is the same beer? Very dark ruby colour, creamy head. Moderate malty aroma with caramel. The flavour is very malty and sweet with loads of caramel, slightly roasty. Decent hops in the finish. Not easy drinking, but nice.
