4003 | Lilland Weissbier | Norway | Hefeweizen | 2.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 330 ml bottle, from Lilland's off-licence. ABV is 4.7%. The glass fills completely by white foam, and the hazy golden beer appears only slowly. Aroma of yeast (far too yeasty), also notes of wheat and cloves. The flavour is also too yeasty, and moderately citric, notes of grain, hints of cloves. Still drinkable. Banana, yeast and grain in the aftertaste. |

Clear red colour, pours sparkling with a large pink-ish head that actually lasts a while. Distinct aroma of blackberries, apples in the background. Sweet flavour with notes of blackberries and eating apples (no surprise there). Quite nice to drink. |

4006 | Lindeboom Pilsener | Netherlands | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 300 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet). Golden colour. large head. Fairly malty aroma for a pilsener, flavour is also relatively sweet for a pils, there’s some unpleasant cardboard / boiled vegetables hints in the background, tolerable hops in the finish. A drinkable pils after all, but it can’t match the best Czech and German pilseners. |

4008 | Lindemans Cassis | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 March 2013: 250 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 3.5%. Dark red colour, moderate pink head. Intense aroma of blackcurrant juice. Intensely sweet and sour flavour, with loads of sweetened blackcurrant juice. A beer to be had with a fruit dessert, perhaps. You really have to be partial to blackcurrants to drink more than one bottle. I know some people like to mix this in a porter. I haven’t tried that, but it might work. |

4010 | Lindemans Faro | Belgium | Faro | 3.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 375 ml dark green bottle with silver foil top, capped and corked. ABV is 4.2%. Soon available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden brown colour, moderate to low white head. Aroma of malts, cellar, fruit and kandij sugar, hints of oak. The flavour is fruity, moderately acidic and quite sweet, sugary and oaky notes. Faro is maybe not my favourite beer style, but this is a nice "change of pace" beer. |

4011 | Lindemans Framboise | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.9
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 250 ml nip bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 2.5%. Dark red (and I mean RED) colour, big pink head. Intense sweetish aroma of raspberries, and nothing but raspberries (or raspberry jam). The flavour is very sweet, and has loads of raspberries, followed by raspberries, with raspberries in the finish. Get the point? I like raspberries and raspberry juice, so I like this beer. Did I say "beer"? You get no indication that this actually is a beer. It tastes like raspberry juice, and raspberry juice is good for you. Know that. Besides, with 2.5% ABV, you’re on your way to becoming a tee-totaller. This is probably one of the most perverted beers I’ve ever had. |

4013 | Lindemans Gueuze | Belgium | Gueuze | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 375 ml capped and corked bottle, as Gueuze Foudroyante, bought in France. ABV is 4.0%. Hazy dark amber colour, large to moderate off-white head. Sweet and sourish aroma, reminiscent of some cheap white wines, hints of oak, cider apples, rotting berries and barnyard too. Flavour is very sweet, sweeter than any other gueuze I’ve had (not that I’ve had very many), strong notes of rotting fruits and berries, sourish but not astringent. Short sourish-sweet aftertaste. Worth a try, but won’t buy again. |

4014 | Lindemans Kriek | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Rerate: It takes some time getting used to beer with an overwhelming taste of cherries, but dammit - this is GOOD! Sweet and sour cherries galore - but I like it. A nice change of pace - will buy again. I'm upping my rating a few points. Original rating: I bought a bottle today purely out of curiousity. I willingly admit being prejudiced: My attitude is that if I want cherry juice, I buy cherry juice - and if I want beer (yes, I normally do!) then I buy beer. So how do I rate a combination of the two? The aroma was delicious, the flavour - well, it's the best cherry soda I've ever had. But to call it a BEER??? - and worth the price? - nooo! However, REFRESHING is a relevant word. |

The flavour is very sour and tingling, nearly tart, with notes of sour cherries and lemons. Fairly dry. Lovely sour finish and aftertaste. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 Jan. 2016: 750 ml capped and corked green bottle with yellow foil, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Golden colour, pours very effervescent with a large white head that soon dies out. Lovely and intense aroma of cowshed, horse stable, farmhouse kitchen, oak and old gooseberry jam, hints of white wine vinegar and over-ripe peaches. Sour, tart and moderately astringent dry flavour, notes of brettanomyces and oak, hints of over-ripe lemons and white wine vinegar. Impressive stuff. |

4017 | Lindemans Peche | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 375 ml green bottle, gold foil top, capped and corked, as Lindemans Pecheresse. ABV is 2.5%. Will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, large white head. Nice aroma of peaches, peach candy and peach flowers. Sweet flavour with loads of peach juice (minimum 30%, actually) and peach candy - and not much else. Just a moderate acidity. However, peaches taste good ... But don’t expect anything near a "normal " beer flavour! |

Might be better with ice cubes. Won't buy again. |

4021 | Lindesnes Båly Porter | Norway | Porter | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, many thanks to gunnar. ABV 4.7%. Black colour, large to moderate brown head - looks good, but retention could have been better. Strong roasty and woody dryish aroma, notes of coffee. The flavour is dry and roasty, coffee and woody notes again, fairly biiter finish. Woody aftertaste. Not the greatest porter in the world, but much better than the other beers I had from Lindesnes. |

4022 | Lindesnes Gahre Pilsner | Norway | Kellerbier | 2.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 4 500 ml bottle, thanks to gunnar. ABV is 4.7%. Some sediment in the bottle. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma and flavour of not-very-successful homebrewed pilsener, grassy, yeasty and woody notes. Decent hops in the finish. Overall not good enough, for a new microbrewery aiming to build a reputation. |

4023 | Lindesnes Imsa Pale Ale | Norway | English Pale Ale | 2.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 500 ml bottle, thanks to the ever generous beer enthusiast gunnar. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy brown colour, large off-white head. Smell of not-quite-fully-fermented homebrew, some fruity notes (green apples) and dusty malts, some woody notes too. The flavour is woody and medium dry, some fruity notes makes the beer drinkable. Bitter finish. Woody aftertaste. Could have been worse, but Lindesnes Brygghus has apparently a long way to go. |

4024 | Lindesnes LB Bibelbelte IPA | Norway | IPA | 2.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 April 2021: 330 ml bottle, batch L378, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy brownish orange colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. Very moderate aroma, hints of citrus and dust. The flavour is first yeasty and malty, followed by a sharp and medicinal hop bitterness. Not a favourite of mine. |

4025 | Lindesnes LB Bølgetoppen Pale Ale | Norway | American Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 August 2020: 330 ml bottle, batch L33, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden to orange colour, enormous white head, apparently overcarbonated, takes "forever" to settle. Aroma of dust, grain and some fruity and piney hops. Good malt body for a beer of this ABV. Hoppy flavour with a resinous and grapefruity bitterness, notes of yeast too. |
