2651 | Fürst Wallerstein Weissbierpils | Germany | Hefeweizen | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Sampled RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. Swingtop bottle, no ABV mentioned. Allegedly the world’s first hefeweissbier-pilsener hybrid. Cloudy pale golden colour, moderate head. Nice aroma and flavour where the traditional weissbier elements (cloves and banana) dominate, but also some German pilsener hops around (Hallertau, Tettnang?). Okay. |

2652 | Furstenberg Premium Lager | Germany | Lager | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, now available in Norway. ABV is 5.3%. Clear pale golden colour, decent to moderate head. Flowery aroma of aromatic hops, notes of honey, grass and fresh plums. Flavour is less interesting - moderate grassy hops with a certain fruity sweetness. Easy drinking, but no masterpiece. |

2654 | Fyne Ales Avalanche | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 4.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 Cask conditioned at The Three Judges, Glasgow. Golden colour, minimal head. Lovely citrussy aroma, also with notes of flowers and tropical fruits. The hoppy flavour has also citrus and tropical fruits, much like Crouch Vale Brewers Gold Extra, but with a more distinct bitterness in the finish. Another great beer! |

2657 | Fyne Ales Pipers Gold | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 (Cask conditioned). Sampled at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival. Served at room temperature (urk!) with only the natural low carbonation - this is a light golden ale with good hops and a lovely aroma, and it should be a perfect session beer when served cooler (and maybe with a fairly tight sparkler?). |
