The flavour was candy chocolate, like chocolate ice cream, and tart cherry. It tasted like smethng I woud have eaten as a child. I enjoyed it more than I should have.

The flavour was well balanced between the sweet notes of the sugar and dark fruit and the bitterness of the roasted malt and the hops. Quite good.

The aroma was dark fruits, nuts, caramel, yeast, and molasses. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was sweet and bready with notes of caramel, dark fruits, yeast, and burnt sugar. It was a good beer, but not great.

Every once in a while there is a whiff of alcohol.

The flavour was caramel, yeast, weak hints of molasses, and nuts. I enjoyed it a great deal. Too bad only one comes in the box.
