Sampled this at a party - certainly not something I could afford myself Bottle is 5 years old. Colour - viscous, reddish brown, cloudy, no head. Aroma - alcohol...alcohol, butterscotch, and licorice. Mouthfeel - thick, creamy, smooth. Flavour - very sweet, caramel, candy sugary. Overall - an excellent rare treat.

This beer is huge in Western Canada. Both my father and grandfather said it was garbage then and I say it's garbage now. Colour - pale gold, white head. Aroma - grainy malt. Mouthfeel - medium bodied. Flavour - grainy. Overall - sub-par.
