Nice head with average retention and good lacing. Copper/orange color. Slight hoppy, floral aroma. Nicely balanced with a bitter finish. Citrus notes. A beer I drink and enjoy regularly.

Among my favorite session brews. This is the beer that sets the standard for the style. Hoppy without being over the top. Nice lacing and a wonderful aroma. The bottles and draft are different, but I love them both.

A truly delightful oatmeal stout. Excellent balance between sweetness and a slightly bitter finish that kept me coming back for more. Full bodied and silky smooth. Nice dark head with good retetion and lacing. Chocolate, coffee and dark fruit aroma. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate flavors.If reviewed as a sweet stout I'd have to reconsider my marks as I believe it might just exceed the IBU's specified for sweet stouts by BJCP. Not as much to my liking in the bottle, but still good. The best draught oatmeal stout I've tried.

Must be experienced to fully appreciate. Incredibly dark in color. Dark brown head with excellent retention. Drinks more like a port than beer. A bit to sweet and fruity for me to appreciate often, but fully expected for the strength and style. Definetly an after dinner drink to share. Complex flavor and aroma with chocolate and roasted notes, along with fruit that I can't quite put my finger on. One of my favorite "extreme" brews.
