Moza is Negra Modella's poor Guatemalan cousin - it has a similar taste though maybe it is a bit more bitter. That said, I think Negra Modella is pretty good (one of the best Latin American Beers). Moza is perfectly drinkable and I recommend it as a first or second choice with Monte Carlo if you ever find yourself in Gautemala.

Monte Carlo and Mazo were my favorite Guatemalen beers. Monte Carlo kind of reminds me of Rolling Rock. When fresh and cold it has a clean taste with only a hint of bitterness -which gives it enough body to elevate it above tapwater such as Sol or Pacifico. Like Rolling Rock, Monte Carlo is perfectly drinkable but nothing too special on its own.

Barena falls into the traditional yellow colored water category other Latin American beers such as Sol or Dos Equis fall into. I'd rate it as the worst Honduran beer barely edging out Imperial for that distinction.
