I think this beer is an attempt to produce a relatively less expensive Canadian knock-off of Newcastle Brown Ale. Canterbury manages to pull it off in the appearance category, however it fails to deliver a taste beyond macro swill. I appreciate the price and that it is generally better than the majority of Canadian macros.

This is definitely the best swill out there. At four bucks for a sixer of 16 ouncers, how can you lose? The "Champ" stomps the shit out of Budweiser for sure.

This ale is one of the best beverages I have ever tasted. Definitely worth the ten dollar price tag. A perfect beer albeit it could be improved by having a touch less carbonation.

I can't begin to elaborate how shitty this overpriced beer is. Its aroma is deceptive because it smells like a legitamate hefeweisen. However once I put it to my lips I knew better. Watered down? Amen, brother! Taste? It tastes like a cross between Olde English 800 and Budweiser sans the chode-flavored aftertaste. This beer sucks--definitely the worst hefe on the market. Shame on you Portland!

One of the few brews you will find in the state regulated liquor stores in Washington. It must be this way to prevent hobos from buying large quantities of this shit.
