I came upon "Samuel Adams Vienna Style" while purchasing the Sam Adams Winter Sampler 12 packs. Call me crazy but this tastes like the Samuel Adams Boston Lager. It looks the same, it tastes the same. I poured the Boston Lager into a glass of Vienna Style and the color never changed. It was the same color and it tasted no different. Maybe I'm being left in the dark among the beer circle but I'd swear that Vienna Style is the same beer as the Boston lager with a different name. If that's so, why would they sell it in the U.S? What's the point? Anyway, regardless of this complete fraud, Vienna/Boston lager is a good american lager.

Miller Lite is a good light beer. It's cheaper than Amstel and Sam Adams light beer and it tastes better than Bud Light or Michelob Light. It's the perfect middle beer between price and quality. Not as good as Sam Adams light but better than the not-quite-right taste of Bud Light.

I feel that more could've been done for this brew. A fine winter brew but after having Harpoons "winter warmer" with all the spice and Sam Adams "Old Feziwig Ale" I can't help but taste the recipe that could've been or can still be for Sam Adams "Winter Ale". Needs some fine tuning in my opinion.

Michelob Ultra is like drinking water with some bubbles. If you've ever been a smoker who went from Marlboro or Camel to Virginia Slim Ultra lights then you can already get a sense of what I'm talking about. I was amazed to learn that the alcohol content was over 4.0. Pretty soon they'll just make alcoholic water. Need a fix without the sugar/carbs/flavor? Drink Michelob Ultra and eventually Michelob Spring Water.
