This beer is a novelty, and thats all. At least at the age I tasted it. It may someday age into a nice beer...in like 15 years. Imaging a cheap super young scotch with maple syrup added. Flavors do not blend. Flat, sweet, and very alcoholic. More like a liqueur than a beer...but the problem is...a BAD liqueur.

An amazing beer, so complex and really comparable to Belgian beers of this type. A nice sourness. Good musky cellar flavore, not as much as some of the intense belgians lambic like cantillion, but very nice. Very fruity. Good malt complexity. Oak adds a nice vanilla character. Well rounded and exciting, comparable to Rodenbach Grand Cru.

Excelent beer, not as spicy and complex as most of the belgian ales of this type, but pretty good, expecialy for the price, compared to a lot of American takes. Just a good, refreshing, and complex beer.

Lite pale ale, very drinkable. Excellent hop character. A lite refreshing beer. Not a lot of malt or body, but balanced.
