  I was looking forward to this, as I like darker beers and have enjoyed other black lagers. The best thing I can say about it is that it makes a tasty beer batter for a fish fry. There is very little head but it's inky black, so it looks pretty good. The aroma is like stale pond water, the flavor is a bit better than that but it feels tinny and thin. Not terrible, but certainly not very good.

  Used to drink this a lot when it was first introduced, and it was not bad then. Last couple of times I've been in Ontario it has seemed pretty obvious that Molson messed with the recipe. As currently available this is below average, mass market brew.
