About:
I like just about any beer and am willing to try anything more than once. My favorite beer is free beer. I also have attempted to brew my own beer a couple of times. My goal is to enjoy life and to do what it takes to ensure a good time for all involved.

Schlitz is one of the cheapest beers to be found however, it is not nearly as bad as the other alternatives in the same class. For example, Stroh's really sucks yet schlitz is still able to hold its own in the dirt cheap beer category. $4.59 for a 12 pack ya can't go wrong (if you ever plan on taking the easy/cheap route) schlitz according to me and Mens Health magazine (Don't remember the year or the mag. #) both rate schlitz as one of the best cheap beers ever.

I have had many 40's in my time and king cobra actually does a respectable (not good) job of actually tasting remotely close to real beer. I found it remarkably easier to choke down than other 40's in the same price range and would reccomend it to any one who has a problem with drinking in a responsible manner (like any 40). A good alternative would be mickeys or schlitz red bull (NOT blue bull).

Mickeys is not the worst beer ever however, it needs to be enjoyed ice cold. I am also disappointed that the wide mouth 40 bottles were discontinued. I would reccomend this beer (or malt liquor) to anyone that plans on drinking too much and wants to save a little chump change. This is one of the better 40's a good alternative would be the schlitz red bull 40 (NOT the blue bull). And the hand grenade bottles are pretty cool as well. The pure novelty of the (drinking) vessel makes this a little more bareable.

Aruba red (and/or red claw etc) produced by Anheuser-Busch is a decently priced beer made for several corporate chain restaurants. This beer I find to be be an excellent red beer that has an excellent initial and after taste. Ultimately I wish I could get this beer in keg form for the old keg-a-rator. I would even accept this in can or bottle form as well. I called Anheuser-Busch about this one and there is no way it will be sold to any non-corporate-chain person, bummer, because this is surely a solid 8 in my mind when all factors are combined (price included).

The Lienenkugel line has never let me down and this is certainly the finest of the entire line of beers by Jacob Lienenkugel. I enjoy this beer everytime I taste it. This beer is probably the most consistent beer ever.
