  Well, unlike the brewer's desription of "huge", this is an O.K. beer that could be better. The aroma has a little cofee, a little root beer,some Brandy,alcohol.The color a nice Brandy. The taste starts with the same- coffee, root beer, and as with another high-alcohol Wiscosin beer (New Glarus' Barley Wine), a little "metallic" taste. This does the job in the alohol deartment,and is by no means bad, but could be much more (esp. for 10 bucks a six pack).

  As with other reviewers, this poured a darker, cloudy amber.Sort of a granny smith apple taste/aroma, as well as the tangerine/sourdough/nutmeg mentioned before. Medium body.Had the same "fresh cut hay" mustiness I am used to in other farmhouse beers.Really unique. In the 30-40 brands of Belgians I've tried, not much to compare this one to... But worth trying, definitely
