pours a nice golden color. good head retention, sweet aroma. velvety smooth almost candy-like taste. goes well with a nice cigar. worth $9.00 a bottle. reminds me of piraat

this beer pours with a nice creamy head. the aroma is just fantastic. the taste has a nice bitterness to it. i'm not an IPA guy but this is one good brew.

tried this beer in prague and here on draft. nice golden color. decent head, pleasant aroma. the taste is great with a slight dryness.not as bitter as other czech pilsners. always a good choice. ( the bottled version does lose some of the greatness of this beer.)

pours with a nice creamy head that lasts a while. the aroma pleasant; i've yet to smell a "skunked" one yet. the taste was good, not outstanding. not a beer that i drink regularly. but i'd never turn one down.

This beer is fantastic! I'm not a doppel bock drinker, but this beer blows me away. The aroma, the taste, everything. The only thing that keeps me from having this all the time is the price.
