Bud really isn't that bad... for an American beer. Better than the other major label American beers I've tried. Somewhat richer in the taste than the others and not as bitter.

Slightly more bitter and not as rich as "The other Danish lager", Carlsberg. To many people the taste is so similar, though, that they claim to be unable to tell the two beers apart. Definately a drinkable lager, but nothing special.

A truly dangerous beer. It's very strong, but goes down like the smoothest beers around. Quite sweet, without being too much. A great way of enduring the Danish winter. The name "juleren" is a pun on the word "ren" which can mean both "reindeer" and "pure" in Danish.

One of the best beers from Thisted Brewery. A great tasting beer that lingers in your mouth. Compared to Danish lagers, this beer has a richer, more round taste - definately worth your time.

A decent Danish lager, but nothing special. There's somewhat of a "yeasty" aftertaste to the beer. An acceptable alternative to Carlsberg and Tuborg, but go for the special brews from the brewery instead.
