Have lived in Boston, Dublin Ireland, San Francisco, San Diego & Northern Virginia since I've been here and have sampled many microbrew beers, especially in the Northeast.

  Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

  Having grown up drinking this beer, I'm biased! Rich, dark ale just a tad lighter than stout. Sweet with coffee undertones and a very smooth finish. Much better than the chocolate-tasting porters that you get in the USA.

  Having drunk this beer around the world (Ireland, Australia, Asia and the USA), it has more of a full-bodied taste and creamy head in Ireland. It doesn't seem to travel well.
