A very heavy high alcohol tasting double ipa. Says 10%, tastes like 15 - 17. Very oily oaky mouth feel. Would have liked a little less oil and a little more smoother taste, but the oak after taste was excellent.

Very deceiving at 9%. Tastes like 7. Not oily like all the other imperials. Easy to drink from a starting beer if nothing else suits you up to a great last beer looking for and end cap. I like em' strong but drinkable and in my taste, this beer is in the top 5.

nothing stood out at memorable. average double ipa, not bad, not great. Not a great hop feel; would like to see more bitter hops on the lines of a double ipa. does not taste like 8.5%.
