One of the changes since the last version of the site is that you'll no longer have to wait for your submissions to be approved to get beer caps. You'll receive them right away. If for some reason it's not approved, and gets removed from the site, your beer caps will get removed. Otherwise we'll have boneheads submitting a bunch of crap just to rack up points.

You also won't receive any messages when it's approved. 

99% of the unapproved beers from the old site belonged to Cybercat. I'll have to add up the total count and award a lump sum of beer caps!

I just added 1 brewery and 5 beers from New York State.  My Beer Caps remained unchanged at 10596.

Wow, that was bad. I made a change almost a week ago so it hasn't been working. I'm uploading a fix right now. I missed out on all kinds of beer caps too!
