New take on Genny Cream & Founders Pilsner.

Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF

Great New Summertime Brews, especially to break the tedium of COVID-19! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIEOdiamwtE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZFf5wVOFac Here's hoping they are available in your area. ;)

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1199/5441/ Founders is becoming a bit more prevalent in this area. Mostly IPA'a, but I'm OK with that. Although it's not my favorite style, I'm learning to like it more. Sorry, bradpear! :( I doubt that Founders uses syrups, adjuncts, etc. merely to cut production costs. Therefore, the only drawback is that Founders is more expensive than decent macros. Did you know that hoppy beers may be healthier beers? https://www.drweil.com/health-wellness/body-mind-spirit/allergy-asthma/health-benefits-of-hops/ https://www.scripps.edu/news-and-events/press-room/2018/20180925-IPA-diabetes-saez.html https://www.menshealth.com/health/a19530467/ipas-health-benefits/ https://healthyfocus.org/benefits-of-hops/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT06suA7dms These are my favorites of a non-favorite style... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0iI9jHCrOo Around here, the Founders is a bit more available and at a nicer price point. :)

Another fine IPA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0iI9jHCrOo Contemplating...the IPA top choices tend to be very rich flavor-wise. "Great" would soon become "Cloying". Ideally one would like to switch to higher quality in spite of price...but bottom line...Extra Gold Lager is more suited to good "everyday-beer" status?

BTW, I was given two brown glass screw top growlers of the Jai Alai, from Pennsylvania. I don't think I've ever seen it on the shelves or in the cooler, anywhere.
