CoronaVirus

Non-Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF

Certainly everyone at beerpal is aware. We should have a thread. Let's start with this: https://www.c-span.org/video/?470351-1/president-trump-declares-national-emergency-response-coronavirus

Our President and our Governor (NYS) are taking angry shots at each other, especially lately. Civil unrest is not exclusive to New York, but it isn't helping. Seems that Trump is really doing his best to get the US thru this COVID thing. Seems that Cuomo is really doing his best to get NY thru this COVID thing. They were both agreeing and disagreeing on different issues, but the mutual respect seemed to be there. The virus situation has taken a toll on both leaders. :( Y'all are from different states and different countries. What's your view? I sorta segued into a 3 hr 40 minute online tour of Manhattan, from four years ago this month. I haven't been to Manhattan since 1982, and I don't miss it. I stood in the entryway of Electric Lady Studios in the mid-seventies. I told this to a nearby Greenwich Village barkeep; he asked Who is Jimi Hendrix ?!? :D Somehow, I really am interested in watching the long Manhattan video. ;)

Here's NYS history of the CoronaVirus, with no personal editorial, as presented by CNBC. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/08/new-york-gov-cuomo-says-trump-is-actively-trying-to-kill-new-york-city.html What's the story in YOUR State or Country ???

@KendoSurf The situation has changed drastically since this thread. President Trump was duped by Big Pharma, the CCP, and other bad actors. Let me post a couple links; these tell the story better than I can. I think you'll agree. https://www.dropbox.com/s/867zb7vh148q57p/Gary%20Heavin%20-%20Constitutional%20Sheriff%27s%20Association.mov?dl=0# https://rumble.com/vnczuv-the-great-reset-facebook-amazon-want-seats-at-the-un-for-real..html

@Kendo_Surf Sad to say, even President Trump was in on the deadly false narrative. Unknowingly perhaps, but he was The President. He should have known better. :( https://rumble.com/vov60h-dr.-david-martin-follow-the-patents-then-you-will-understand-covid.html

I should mention...IPA brews are best at room temp imo. Must be my English heritage! One or two from this pack were drank cold. Not thrilled. Many macros especially, but beers overall, are best served cold. Onwards, beerpals! :)

Room temp? I don't need them cold, but I don't know about that warm!

Extra Gold Lager is an exception. A macro that is easy drinking cold, slightly chilled, or even room temp. Many macros are best consumed really cold. In some cases, that's the ONLY way they can be drank (or as some would say, even TOLERATED). Craft beers can be dicey too. Generally, I think Craft & Craftys shouldn't be dependent upon COLDNESS to be drinkable...?

I thought perfect IPA temp was 10C/50F? Not warm.......but not cold. The only beer I drink "cold" is Molson Canadian

Covid germs can be killed by drinking copias amounts of 15% pastry stouts. A Floridian told me so. Must be true. Cheers!
