Flavor's more rounded with being colder. Interesting contrast between sweet dessert aroma and dry porter flavor. Maybe the stretch is too far, keeping this from being regarded as a great brew in EITHER camp? What the hey...I'll give it a rest, and then open that Bud-A-Rita or whatever! [:D]

[:p][:p][:p] OK...STRAW-BER-RITA with DELALLO Green & Red Stuffing Peppers*...[8D] The STRAW-BER-RITA is a sweet watery artificial-but-not-unpleasant blend. I wouldn't like to have it around all the time, for sure! Can I drink it as a novelty right now? Yeah, I think so. [8)] *Best prepared Jalapeno Peppers I've ever sampled. Hot. Not Scorching. I emailed the company to ask for other glass packs from them! [^]

[8D] Experiment was a success, imo. The solution = add 1.5 oz (adjust to taste) of E'Dolce Amaretto to a 12 oz bottle of. Use COLD beer & booze. Now the dessert is complete, and the porter bitterness still stands out. Even lingers for a short while. Hey...howzabout capt'n Eli's Cream Soda mixed with, in [?] proportions...??? Maybe we should Check It Out! [:o)]

[8)] Um...yeah, you can create a drinkable concoction with porter-cream soda-amaretto. Won't win you any awards. Imo they should have decided to make this a dessert drink OR a dry porter.

I enjoyed this beer too! It was somewhat artificial tasting, but it was tasty nonetheless. t.
