1st tasting, Founders Dirty Bastard :)
General Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF
Here's a brew that's truly DOUBLE the abv I usually drink now, which is 3.2 Beer (see applicable threads). I think this is my first time ever; chose it due to rep. [:p] http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1199/7463/ [^] LIKE! If I ever see its brand mate Kentucky Breakfast when I have cash, you can betcha I will go for it. [;)] [:0] As you can see, Dirty Bastard gets a wide range of descriptions on appearance. Mine is opaque amber brown with a full foamy light brown head. Guess?...Founders isn't of the "Every-Beer-Must-Be-Exactly-The-Same" school of brewing, as macro Bud is. [8)] Read those flavor descriptions. This is a smooth creamy tasty complex-yet-highly-drinkable beer! Creamy molasses plus balanced bitter would be my summation. [8D]

Ya know, Founders has caught my attention due to their phenomenal Kentucky Breakfast ratings, and the Bastard which I got a sixer of. I've been reading about their other brews too. They have a f'up or two in their selections, but mostly they are VERY. [8D]

As far as average score per beer, regardless of style or sample size, they are #2 for me. All things considered, easily top 10.
